Currently, the word is that History will be airing shows (including Ancient Aliens, The Universe and Modern Marvels) that previously were on H2.

Vice Channel is an insult and I can’t allow this putrid Shi# to be in my home. H2 was one of the only channels worth watching, Ancient Aliens was excellent and now it can’t be found. Who in their right mind would make a decision like this. Put this Vice shi# on a totally obscure channel number where it belongs, near the bottom of the toilet bowl of TV and hit the flusher. Bring H2 back or you can kiss my a#$, F*&$k that stupid Vice shi#.

I got this tier because of the programming that H2 had !! !When other channels switched to something else we lost good shows as well And still others where we NOW have to pay for when previously they were on tiers we already had !!!!!! I agree. I was appalled to find another garbage movies channel instead of the History 2 channel. There is so little television available anymore that has even a modicum of educational content that this is a serious loss.’
The main History channel had become little more than a series of blue collar, redneck, reality shows. H2 was the last basion of what the History channel used to be. Shame on everyone involved in this.
WTF???? Had to put the parental control kibosh on this channel immediat3ely until I found out more about it. What a joke! There is already so much of this type on cable, and so few channels like H2. However, I was glad to hear some H2 shoes like, “Modern Marvels”, and “Ancient Aliens”,
will now air on the traditional History channel — but still, those weren’t the only good history-oriented programs.
Finally, I saved $ on my Charter account by deciding to change my subscription
and dropping the digital tier — the only reason I paid for this tier was to get H2.
Oh, and VICE?? Seriously? Good luck with that, and shows such as, “F*ck, that’s Delicious” . . . and, “*alls Deep” . . . again, seriously? Just sayin’ . . .

Extremely disappointed to put on History 2 last night and bump into this Vice thing. History 2 was my go-to channel, the one I’d put on while searching my Dish guide. I’ve never bothered to comment on anything before, but this one qualifies. Bad choice; bad decision. Makes me want to drop satellite.
Guess there is no need for me to have cable anymore as H2 was the only reason that I subscribed….
This Viceland garbage should have it’s own channel next to Bravo. H2 was awesome because it hadn’t been infected by all the “reality” TV shat. Actual interesting and intelligent programs are dying out to mindless trash like Viceland. What a disgrace! I’m so disappointed that it is making my head hurt. Where’s the petition to bring back H2?!
Well… I’m working on cutting the cord with these idiots. I just installed Kodi on my PC, and there’s one add-on (Phoenix) that has a massive library of stuff, including a documentary folder with all the good stuff! Cosmos, The Universe, Through the Wormhole, World at War, etc… Oh, and Ancient Aliens and I believe Hangar One! There’s also a retro folder with such great shows as Barney Miller, WKRP, Hogan’s Heroes, The Munsters, Addams Family, etc… The amount of content on Phoenix is incredible!! Too much to mention! Plus there are libraries for 1080 movies from 203 – 2016. I just watched the first few minutes of Creed. And this is just ONE add-on!!!
Once I figure it all out on my PC I’ll get Kodi on an Amazon Firestick and then I’ll tell TWC where they can stick their movie package and digital phone.
I’m now playing with USTVNOW add-on which has all the major networks in real time. There are tons of add-ons to stream just about anything. TV, movies, sports, you name it!

I can’t begin to express how angry it makes me that my favorite TV channel (H2) has been taken off the air and replaced with garbage tv. It’s becoming very difficult to find anything on TV that’s fit to watch. I just hope that whoever made this decision will eventually be fired!
