Currently, the word is that History will be airing shows (including Ancient Aliens, The Universe and Modern Marvels) that previously were on H2.

This is terrible. I watch one channel on television, and that is H2. Keep in mind, I am the quintessential audience they thought they were targeting with viceland, a 26 year old young lawyer living in a big city. Now, to make things worse, the H2 shows that were “moving to History,” are not available on History channel at all. Moreover, they have rubbed it in H2 fans faces by making the viceland shows available on History on demand. I hope the CEO of A&E has a heart attack and dies, then her successor brings back H2.
I’m absolutely sick that DISH has decided to cut H2. What the hell are you thinking? At least you could move that programming to another channel. Better yet, if you must do VICE, put it somewhere else. You’ve f**ked up my whole TV scheduling.

It would be great if the history channel would actually focus on history. H2 at least provided more of that than the History channel. Will miss Ancient Discoveries. Current changes have spurred my interest in getting rid of cable because of the increasing poor quality of offerings.

Bring back H2 , you can’t just remove something with so much substance, and replace it with emptiness. There are so many other channels out there that are worthless, Viceland would be a perfect addition to those type of channels.. Bring back H2!!!!

Absolutley one of the worst days ever i am not happy about this change. I have no intrest in any of the programs on viceland and will miss my shows. I cannot belive that with all the other crap stations that i am forced to pay for just to watch the few channels i do like that a different station couldn’t have been bought out. It is definatley time to reevaluate what i’m paying for!
