Currently, the word is that History will be airing shows (including Ancient Aliens, The Universe and Modern Marvels) that previously were on H2.

I’ve seen the “programming” for ViceLand and it is total C.R.A.P. There are so few channels out there that actually educate (sorry, TLC, this does not include you), why did they feel the need to get rid of one? I will not be watching anything on VL. Hopefully (but doubtfully), they will get the message.
I have already started to boycott Viceland. I loved H2 and already miss it.
WHY??? I loved geeking out to H2 documentaries about history from every time period!!! Where is A&E going to air their shows on Egypt, Greece, ancient engineering, etc? I think there’s enough channels that do “Reality TV”. History channel should be about history… I find better history shows on AHC than I do on the History network lately.
According to Wikipedia, Viceland replaced H2, ONLY in the US!! WTH?!? In Canada, Viceland replaced the Biography Channel. . .SMDH!!

So angry about this too! I loved H2! It was my favorite channel. I watched it everyday and fell asleep watching it every night. Why would they do this? Especially without even really giving it’s viewers much of a heads up. Why not take a stupid infomercial channel instead of this awesome channel? Reading the other comments I’m obviously not the only one pissed off about this! Change it Back please!?!?!?

The only reason I bought the higher channel option of Dish was so I could watch ancient aliens and America unearthed and Vikings and REAL historical documentaries. I’m canceling DiSH. What the hell is Vice? I’m really upset about this decision. Tv is full of junk shows. Some of us like to be educated!
I am 45 so I guess too old to matter anymore to tv execs. but guess what, the deviant trash that VICELand is pandering too have no $$$, the little that they have is spent on tattoos and piercings and raves. H2 was the primary channel that I watched. This is so upsetting to me, that I am considering getting rid of Comcast cable. Vice is a terrible channel from the small portion that I have happened to see when scanning channels. Please bring back H2. I enjoyed watching history versus shows regarding gay people. No offense but I don’t care to have my favorite channel replaced by garbage.

It is hard to believe someone thought it was a good idea to kill H2 for Viceland.
I am so disappointed with the removal of H2. Please put it back on. Viceland is so horrible. What an awful channel. I can not believe you would put that on. I mean really….have you seen the sorry shows that are on the viceland channel. What a disgrace..whoever came up with this idea had a lousy one don’t you think? The history channel 2 was educational . This viceland is just stupid stuff. Plain old stupid.

Viceland sucks! Really bad decision by A&E mgmt that needs to be corrected. H2 was awesome educational and entertaining whereas Viceland is junk food for the brain. Absolutely crap!! Pathetic and disappointing.
Put H2 back on!!!! The demographic that watched this program were smart, educated and loyal. Viceland is complete junk food for the brain. Programming is garbage and shouldn’t be on TV. Everyone I know is really angry. How can we all come together and put pressure on A&E??
