Currently, the word is that History will be airing shows (including Ancient Aliens, The Universe and Modern Marvels) that previously were on H2.

Weediquette: Correspondent Krishna Andavolu explores the impact of marijuana legalization across the U.S. and internationally, examining how people on all sides of this issue are dealing with the growing popularity and acceptance of this remarkable little plant. Viceland’s premiere lineup for the rest of this week: Gaycation, Balls Deep (March 2 at 10 and 11pm); F*ck, That’s Delicious, Flophouse (March 3 at 10 and 10:30pm).
Viceland is available on Channel 121 on Dish; Channel 271 on DTV; Channel 257 on AT&T and Channel 127 on Verizon. Otherwise, because channel lineups vary from region to region, checking your local listings or try Google for information on where to find the channel in your area.

vice land is crap. H2 was my go to channel for many hours per day. Bring it back! I will not watch the crappy shows.
Replacing H2 with this line up of crap on viceland totally sucks! H2 was my go to channel at any hour of the day. Why in the hell should I have to pay 160 dollars a month to watch programming like viceland! It’s like others have stated, why not take that crap to another channel and leave H2 where it was! I only hope that the idiots involved in making this happen, (A&E, Viceland, and Dish), lose their corporate asses! My 14 years with Dish Network is quickly coming to the finish line!
I get that it’s edgy new programming. I am sure there is a market for it. But, you have taken away a channel that like everyone else on this comment page, I enjoyed a lot. I’ll follow the ratings info closely to see how well your gamble pays off.
You have to ask yourself, why would you remove programming that so many people seemed to love almost religiously. I guess not because Aliens….

It is bad enough to lose the History 2 channel.
But some of the new shows on VICE: Gaycation for example. It may be hard to believe but not everyone in the US is all that interested in gay people, or really care at all. You can cram it down our throats all you want (no pun intended) but the more you do, the more we resent it!
As for BALLS DEEP !! What a vulgar title. Maybe most idiots dont care or maybe dont know what that means? Just plain filth to be on TV at all times of the day. I am no prude but it is embarrasing to have that on there when my Mother or Grandkids are there with me.
Just as stupid and vulgar as the seemingly acceptable term “Jag-off”, which is an oft used term derived from another vulgar term.

I agree, letting Viceland take over H2 was a really bad move. I want our H2 back the way it was! A&E, you really made a poor choice. It’s not just Direct TV, we are a Dish household and my whole household is about ready to just pull the plug. They said the shows we loved on H2 would be on the original History channel but when? I WANT MY H2 BACK!!!!!
Bring back H2! I paid extra for H2 now its gone. My wife feels the same, now she has to put up with me bitching.

Loved H2, and it’s programming which has not been shown on the History (Junk Hunters) channel yet. What A&E replaced H2 with is degenerate crap, and I have already removed Viceland from my channel line up.
Why not just keep H2 and add Vice on another channel. There are plenty of available channels on cable or satellite providers DirecTV and Dish Network. Then you would make everyone happy!

Viceland sucks! Bring back H2. What an awful decision to get rid of H2. Bring back the interesting and compelling programing of H2. Looking at this week’s premiere programming for the rest of this week… you can’t be serious! I’d rather vomit in my mouth than watch it!
H2 was one of my favorite channels , History will not carry all the shows H2 aired.

They think we’d rather learn what people do behind closed doors. Just look at the titles! My grandkids will never see this at my house, as it will never be on!
I have to say this is a very bad decision. I watched the H2 channel a lot, but will watch this Vice channel not at all. I can’t see where the History channel is showing any of the interesting programs that H2 showed. I am very disappointed by this decision and would like to see H2 brought back.
Viceland sucked.. 10 minutes in… I changed the channel….subject matter is off beat.
