The show welcomes special guests at the Los Angeles qualifier when dinosaurs from the upcoming feature film Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom invade the course, along with a special appearance by the film’s stars, Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. In this round, competitors will tackle six obstacles, including two brand new obstacles: Jumper Cables and Doorknob Drop. American Ninja Warrior veterans Sean Bryan, Kevin Bull and Flip Rodriguez also compete.

The series, which Howard pitched to the networks, was based on his own life growing up in Long Island as the only white starter on his high-school basketball team.
