FOX Business NetworkBeginning Monday, Jan. 23, FOX Business Network rolls out two new weekday series designed to help everyday Americans deal with the financial issues most important to them.
At 1pm ET, The Big Money Show with Taylor Riggs, Brian Brenberg and Jackie DeAngelis offers breaking financial news and analysis with the co-hosts’ unique perspectives on economics, markets and policy.
The Bottom Line With Dagen & Duffy at 6pm ET pairs Dagen McDowell and Sean Duffy to discuss hotly debated issues surrounding the intersections of money and politics.
McDowell, who has been with FOX News Media since 2003 and was a founding anchor when FOX Business Network launched in 2007, got down to business for this edition of our 5 Questions:
1. What’s been your strangest or most interesting fan encounter?
Years ago, someone in a deli out in Connecticut recognized me from my voice. He only knew me from the radio. He overheard me ordering at the counter and asked, “Are you Dagen?”
2. Can you tell us about a time you were starstruck?
When I met Lyle Lovett for the a first time. A gracious, hilarious, endlessly talented Texan.
3. What’s a movie that you can watch over and over again?
Goodfellas and The Talented Mr. Ripley.
4. What’s your favorite sports team?
The Washington Football Team. Lifelong fan. I refuse to call them the Commanders. What a terrible name. But not as terrible as the owner of the team. I hope that changes soon.
5. What’s a job you had before (or outside of) journalism?
I managed a local video store in college. Action Video. Yes, back when people rented things called VHS tapes. I watched This Is Spinal Tap at least once a day.
