The Righteous Gemstones, the HBO comedy about the corrupt Gemstone family and their televangelism empire, starts its fourth and final season on Sunday, March 9, at 10pm ET/PT.
At the end of Season 3, the Redeemer monster truck came to the rescue as Gideon (Skyler Gisondo) freed Jesse (Danny McBride), Judy (Edi Patterson) and Kelvin (Adam Devine) from a hostage situation, so they’ll all be returning in Season 4.
Also back are Walton Goggins as Baby Billy Freeman, John Goodman as Eli, Cassidy Freeman as Amber, Tim Baltz as BJ and Tony Cavalero as Keefe.
Joining the guest cast is Megan Mullally as Lori Milsap, an old family friend of the Gemstones. Also guest-starring is Seann William Scott as Lori’s son and Arden Myrin as his wife.
“The Lord spoke to me and said it’s time to wrap this sucker up,” McBride, the series’ creator, said in a statement. “The story this season made the themes, ideas and characters in The Righteous Gemstones feel whole and complete. I have loved every second of working with this team for the past eight years, and there are some incredible payoffs, twists and turns in store over the course of this wild final season.”
