The Weather Channel announces plans for Winter Storm Nemo coverage

As Winter Storm Nemo brings snow to the Great Lakes on its way to the Northeast United States, meteorologists believe it has the potential to become a seriously crippling blizzard for people throughout the Northeast. Forecasts include a STORM:CON 10 index for Boston — the first issuing of a “10” on this new winter weather index — with a potential 2-3 feet of snow expected, as well as similar amounts in parts of Connecticut, Rhode Island and Maine.
