As Winter Storm Nemo brings snow to the Great Lakes on its way to the Northeast United States, meteorologists believe it has the potential to become a seriously crippling blizzard for people throughout the Northeast. Forecasts include a STORM:CON 10 index for Boston — the first issuing of a “10” on this new winter weather index — with a potential 2-3 feet of snow expected, as well as similar amounts in parts of Connecticut, Rhode Island and Maine. This weekend, Feb. 8-10, NBC Sports Group, the U.S. television home of the HSBC Sevens World Series tour, will offer more than 16 hours of coverage of the 2013 USA Sevens Vegas tournament, part of the 2012-13 HSBC Sevens World Series. NBC, NBC Sports Network and Universal Sports will contribute to the coverage of the USA Sevens Vegas tournament, held at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, this weekend. TLC orders more “Toddlers and Tiaras” and “Cheer Perfection”

With the finales of Toddlers and Tiaras and Cheer Perfection airing back-to-back tonight on TLC starting at 9pm ET, the network took this opportunity today to announce that both of the hit series about pint-sized competitors would be coming back with new episodes this summer. Bravo to start nationwide casting calls for Top Chef Season 11

Bravo said today that its hit competition series Top Chef will be returning for Season 11, and that it will start open calls for chefs interested in competing in the next season of competition in cities across the country starting Feb. 11. Top Chef Season 11 casting calls will be held in the locations listed below. While a record 164.1 million people watched some Ravens win the Super Bowl, millions of other fans were watching animals of another sort in a different type of bowl. Animal Planet’s annual Puppy Bowl embarked on its ninth installment as counter-programming to the NFL game, and this year it also took in its biggest audience ever.
