Weather Channel’s Isaac coverage to include first-time live reporting from Cuba

As Tropical Storm Isaac progresses through the Atlantic Ocean and to the Gulf of Mexico (where it may possibly affect the Republican National Convention), The Weather Channel plans to cover the storm with on-camera meteorologists out in the field, including one reporting live from Cuba for the first time ever. ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” will take on Leno and Letterman directly starting in January

In what it is calling a “strategic shift in late-night strategy,” ABC announced today that starting Tuesday, Jan. 8, Jimmy Kimmel Live will be moving to the 11:35pm time slot, where it will go head-to-head with The Tonight Show With Jay Leno and Late Show With David Letterman. “Hardcore Pawn” to get a Chicago-set spinoff series

truTV announced yesterday that it would be expanding its hit Hardcore Pawn franchise with an all-new series set in Chicago, as the network has greenlit Hardcore Pawn: Chicago. The nine-episode, half-hour series is set to premiere later this year. Firs it was Mister Rogers. Then Bob Ross. Now, it’s legendary chef Julia Child’s turn to be auto-tuned by PBS Digital Studios, in the joyous video below. It’s probably no surprise, considering that PBS is in the midst of celebrating Child’s centenary (she was born Aug. 15, 1912, and passed away Aug. 13, 2004).
