Famed actor and TV host Richard Dawson passed away in Los Angeles this past Saturday, June 2, at the age of 79. While Dawson — born Colin Lionel Emm in Gosport, Hampshire, England — is recognized as a mostly comedic actor for his roles in the 1965-71 series Hogan’s Heroes and the cult-classic 1987 Arnold Schwarzenegger film The Running Man, he may be most remembered for his work on TV game shows throughout the 1970s and ’80s, on both the Match Game and, especially, the original incarnation of Family Feud. First official photo from Lifetime’s “Liz & Dick”

Lifetime released this first official photo from its original movie Liz & Dick, which started principal photography in Los Angeles today and will debut later this year on the network. The biopic stars Lindsay Lohan as Elizabeth Taylor and Grant Bowler as Richard Burton in a telling of the celebrity couple’s sometimes rocky romance. “Call of the Wildman” recaps: “Miner Threat/Killer at Shaker Village”

“Turtleman” (real name Ernie Brown Jr.) made his return to Animal Planet last night in two new episodes of Call of the Wildman. In the episodes, we not only got to see Turtleman in action capturing an array of critters in his home state of Kentucky (beyond just his namesake turtles), but the show has also appeared to start developing his personality and humor a bit more, and it sounds like we will be seeing more of that as the new episodes progress (there are 14 more new ones after last night’s premieres). Representing the first Dimension Films release to be offered as a day-and-date theatrical/Video On Demand (VOD) launch — and the first ever launch of this sort for a 3D movie — Piranha 3DD will be available On Demand and online for VOD rentals starting today, coinciding with its theatrical release.
