“Glee in Concert” hits the stage in four cities

From FOX: In an unprecedented live event, Twentieth Century Fox Television and Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy are bringing the hit television show to concert stages this spring. Beginning Wednesday, May 18 at the Dodge Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona, Glee stars Lea Michele (Rachel), Cory Monteith (Finn), Amber Riley (Mercedes), Chris Colfer (Kurt), Kevin McHale (Artie), Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina), Mark Salling (Puck), Dianna Agron (Quinn), Naya Rivera (Santana), Heather Morris (Brittany), Harry Shum, Jr. (Mike) and Dijon Talton (Matt) will perform in a singing and dancing celebration of the Golden Globe Award winning show.

While some celebrities and pro athletes engage in Olympian feats of tweeting over on Twitter, many actual Olympic athletes who will be competing in the 2010 games in Vancouver, which begin today on the networks of NBC Universal, also have Twitter accounts. “These are going to be the Twitter Olympics,” says Bob Condron, Director of Media Services for the United States Olympic Committee. “There’s no telling where the updates will come from. “Antiques Roadshow” looking for Season 15 objects

PBS’s most popular primetime series, Antiques Roadshow, has announced its Summer 2010 tour destinations. Programs taped in these locations will make up the show’s 15th broadcast season in 2011 (the 14th season began last Monday). “We’re calling this our Crystal Anniversary Tour,” says series executive producer Marsha Bemko. “It’s our way of celebrating Roadshow‘s 15-year romance with America’s stories, its objects and its extraordinary history.” This 2010 tour will feature a series of local events at which top appraisers offer the public free evaluations of antiques and collectibles, revealing the often-surprising history and value of the items.
