Little Women: LA Episode 8 recap “Into The Woods” Features My Idea of Hell: Camping and Yelling

This episode may be titled “Into the Woods,” but I’d call it, “Camping is Terrible” or “The Sh!tstorm.” Lila is still around. And I love that someone has brought fresh drama to LA. Drama sucks to live through, but is very entertaining to watch. Terra and Joe decide to take everyone to Catalina Island, But psyche! Because Joe isn’t actually going, he booked a commercial and can’t go. This is the first time that everyone is getting together since Todd and Erik (and kinda Joe) got into a fight. You know what’s a good idea? Getting on a boat with your […]

You Can Get Your Hands On An Academy Award!

The 87th Academy Awards are less than a week away, but some people already have their hands on an Oscar. In a scene straight out of my wildest fantasies, Walt Disney World Resort guests, (specifically visitors to Disney’s Hollywood Studios) can pose with the famed little gold statue. I wonder if they’ll allow visitors time to give their pretend Academy Award acceptance speech, because we’ve ALL practiced them in the bathroom mirror. From Feb.16 to 22, Walt Disney World Resort guests have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to pose for a photo with an Oscar statuette as part of festivities leading up to The […]

What’s On TV Talk?: Feb 16-20

The Daytime Talk Show world was rocked last week by Rosie O’Donnell’s sudden departure from The View. This is the second time the comedian has left the show, she previously served as a co-host in 2007 and rejoined the panel in Fall 2014, along with new co-hosts Nicole Wallace and Rosie Perez, as well as returning moderator Whoopi Goldberg. The actress has said that she wants to focus on her health and her family, and I doubt few can fault her for putting herself and her loved ones first in her life. O’Donnell recently announced that she and her wife Michelle […]

5 Questions with Baby Daddy’s Derek Theler

Derek Theler plays charming hockey player Danny Wheeler on the ABC Family’s comedy, Baby Daddy. In a special two-part crossover event, General Hospital’s Kelly Monaco guest starred on the Feb. 4 episode of Baby Daddy and on Feb. 13, Theler and co-star Melissa Peterman will star on the Valentine’s Day episode of General Hospital. At the end of my chat with Monaco and Theler about the double swap, Theler shared that the soap’s rapid pace was a challenge, but that the experience taught him to be a “smaller” actor. Then he answered our 5 Questions… 1. You’re at a magazine rack and […]

General Hospital & Baby Daddy Double-Crossover Event, Part 2

Today, in the second part of a double-swap between General Hospital and Baby Daddy stars, actors from the ABC Family Comedy are heading to Port Charles for their close-ups. On Feb. 4, GH’s Kelly Monaco played a very exaggerated (and very funny) version of herself on Baby Daddy, and now Derek Theler (“Danny Wheeler”) and Melissa Peterman (“Bonnie Wheeler”) are visiting the soap. I spoke with Derek and Kelly last week and they revealed the biggest difference between shooting Baby Daddy and GH, is that soap operas — which have to hair a new hour of programming every day — work amazingly […]

Bringing Up Bates Preview: “Welcome Grandbaby Bates”

Here they grow again! America’s newest super-sized sensations are prepped for the start of the next generation of Bates. I admit to loving TV weddings. I simply love, love and any time I watch people reaffirm that love before family and friends, I am happy and honored to be a witness. But one thing that I love more than weddings is the birth of a baby! Who doesn’t love seeing a new life enter the world bringing with it a bit of goodness and perfection into everyday life. It’s a moment ripe with hope, and I usually end up a […]
