Starting today, Oct. 12, though Sunday, Nov. 4, American Idol hopefuls have one more chance to audition for the show’s upcoming 12th season, which begins in January on FOX (with recently announced judges Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban, along with returning judge Randy Jackson). Online auditions are being taken during these dates, and entrants should submit an audition video online, featuring them performing a song of their choice a cappella. “Dance Moms” casting announcement: Lifetime, producers seeking studio for spin-off

Bryan Stinson, executive producer of Dance Moms, announced today via Twitter that he, his co-producers at Collins Avenue and Lifetime are seeking a brand new dance studio to add to the Dance Moms franchise. “A Real American Haunting” producers put out casting call to families

Those things in your house that go bump in the night could just be your ticket to TV. The producers of A Real American Haunting have put out a casting call for families who believe they are being haunted by spirits from beyond. Go Go Lucky Entertainment, which also brought us Paranormal State, The Exorcist Files and Brad Meltzer’s Decoded, is letting families share their experiences on its website. The site says the families, in addition to having their ghostly encounters filmed, will be offered help dealing with their paranormal problems.

The longest-running game show in TV history will be making some more history as it begins its first-ever search for a male model (as if having Drew Carey as host doesn’t sexify things enough already for the ladies). The Price Is Right will air this search as a five-episode web series competition on PriceIsRight.com and Youtube.com/PriceIsRight in late September.
