Jane the Virgin Chapter 30 recap: Christmas Miracles

Since Christmas is right around the corner, The CW is gifting us with the mid-season finale of Jane the Virgin — finally! If you’ll remember from the last episode, Jane discovered that Rafael hired someone to go to the police to lie about Michael. Just as things were looking magically perfect once again, she had to find something to ruin that plan. Let’s hope the holidays bring them together. That’s what usually happens, right? Calm Jane has decided that she’s going to try to deal with Rafael for Mateo’s sake since it’s his first Christmas. When Mateo goes to get his picture […]

NBC’s Telenovela preview airs Dec. 7. We talk with Eva Longoria!

NBC’s new Eva Longoria comedy Telenovela premieres Jan. 4 at 8:30/7:30CT, but the network is offering viewers a two-episode sneak peek this Monday, Dec. 7 at 10/9CT.   Longoria, who created and stars in the sidesplitting series, said the idea came from her love of the ’70s sitcom Soap and the 1991 Kevin Kline/Sally Field film Soapdish — coupled with tales told to her by pals in the telenovela business. “They would tell me stories about crazy things that would happen to them on set,” Longoria says, “and I would be floored by the amount of drama that happened that was bigger […]

Recap: Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Episode 8 (Winter Finale): “My Mom, Greg’s Mom and Josh’s Sweet Dance Moves!” – The CW, original airdate Mon. 11/30/15 (For all Crazy Ex recaps, click here.) Tonight’s episode of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend was the winter finale … it’ll on hiatus for a while (and I’ll update this blog once I know when it’s back). The good news is that the CW has ordered additional episodes — it’s a hit! — so it’s just a waiting game now. 🙂 Tonight we met Greg’s mom, saw just how manipulative (and, er, horny) Rebecca’s mom can be, witnessed a few […]

Jane the Virgin Chapter 29 recap: Solano Secrets

Jane has finally agreed to go on a date with Rafael! Is it sad that I’m almost as excited as they are? The only problem is if they need to hire someone to watch Mateo in order to make some time for themselves — and Jane doesn’t want to. Looks like Jane will have to find a babysitter she trusts in this week’s Jane the Virgin. Since the Villanueva family just had their traditional family Thanksgiving, they head to Target for their other family tradition — Black Friday shopping. One ghost from the past that Jane didn’t expect to see while shopping […]

Recap: Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Episode 7: “I’m So Happy That Josh Is So Happy!” – The CW, original airdate Mon. 11/23/15 (For all Crazy Ex recaps, click here.) In Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Episode 7, Dr. Phil makes a cameo appearance, Rebecca has a sexy French depression, Josh moves in with Valencia, and Paula entertains a new client. Josh and Valencia have lived up to their promise from last week’s episode, and are moving in together. (Rebecca and Paula sit outside and watch. When Greg texts Rebecca, Paula is annoyed, noting “It’s like he’s a stalker. No one likes a stalker,” and pulls out […]

Jane the Virgin Chapter 28 recap: Double the Trouble

On the last episode of Jane the Virgin, Michael got into it with Rafael. He even pushed Rafael into the table in true WWE fashion. Since then, Jane has been trying to cope with how she’ll survive without Michael in her life. Remember when we left off with Nadine holding a gun up to Michael’s head? Turns out he was the one that got in contact with her. He wants Nadine’s help with catching Sin Rostro since she’s ruined his life and hers. Looks like it’s a good idea that Jane isn’t including Michael in her life right now. Jane […]

Recap: Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Episode 6 – My First Thanksgiving With Josh!

Recap: Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Episode 6: “My First Thanksgiving With Josh!” – The CW, original airdate Mon. 11/16/15 (For all Crazy Ex recaps, click here.) I’m giving thanks for Crazy Ex-Girlfriend this year! Tonight’s Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Thanksgiving episode included awkward bathroom issues, make-up sex, a couple musical numbers, and a lot of laughs. Here’s a quick look at Episode 6, “My First Thanksgiving With Josh!” It all begins with Rebecca boring the boba stand guys to no end, and as she prattles on about Josh’s admission from last week’s episode (remember, he’s very attracted to her), the guys suggest the possibility […]

Jane the Virgin Chapter 27 recap: Britney Spears and a Wedding

So after reading almost everyone’s comment on last week’s recap of Jane the Virgin, it’s pretty clear Team Rafael is winning the fan vote. I’m with all you Team Rafael fans but please, continue to watch the show. Jane hasn’t officially made her decision just yet and I have a feeling she’s not choosing Michael. The walls might say that Jane wants to be with Michael but I know she doesn’t really want to be with him. Rafael confides in his sister, crazy Luisa who got him in this mess, who tells him that he should pull the cancer card. […]
