FX to re-run “The Americans” Episode 9 online after listings error cuts off DVRs

Episode 9 of the FX drama series The Americans, titled “Safe House,” originally aired on the network this past Wednesday, April 3. It aired from 10pm-11:07pm ET/PT. Unfortunately, due to a listings error by FX publicity, the correct listings information was not properly disseminated to TV listings services that provide information to media outlets, cable and satellite providers. As a result of this error, electronic guides that trigger the run times of DVRs incorrectly recorded the total running time of one hour (10pm-11pm ET/PT), therefore cutting off the final seven minutes of the episode. To atone for this, FX will […]

David Tennant plays it straight in BBC America’s “Spies of Warsaw”

Spies of Warsaw concludes its two-part run April 10. By John Crook There’s something almost puppy-like about the way David Tennant bounds into this Beverly Hills restaurant with a face-splitting grin. He’s dressed chic-casual, slacks and sport coat over a vintage Brit-rock T-shirt, his face stubbly for Broadchurch, the British police drama he’s due to start filming the week after this meeting. That show will air later this year on BBC America, but he’s here right now to talk about Spies of Warsaw, another BBC America production, which premiered April 3 and concludes April 10. Filmed on location in the […]

“Game of Thrones” Season 3 date, time, TV channel, preview and more!

Game of Thrones, Season 3 Sunday, March 31 HBO, 9pm ET Well, I cut it a bit close this time. I make it a personal goal to stay ahead of HBO’s beyond-awesome fantasy series Game of Thrones by making sure I’ve read the book in George R.R. Martin’s beyond-awesome fantasy series A Song of Ice and Fire that the upcoming season is based on. A Game of Thrones and A Clash of Kings went pretty smoothly, and I was able to await the premieres of each season contentedly, but A Storm of Swords nearly beat me. The sucker is 1,128 […]
