FX to re-run “The Americans” Episode 9 online after listings error cuts off DVRs

Episode 9 of the FX drama series The Americans, titled “Safe House,” originally aired on the network this past Wednesday, April 3. It aired from 10pm-11:07pm ET/PT. Unfortunately, due to a listings error by FX publicity, the correct listings information was not properly disseminated to TV listings services that provide information to media outlets, cable and satellite providers. As a result of this error, electronic guides that trigger the run times of DVRs incorrectly recorded the total running time of one hour (10pm-11pm ET/PT), therefore cutting off the final seven minutes of the episode. TVGN replacing SOAPnet as basic cable home for “The Young and the Restless”

Beginning this summer, TVGN will become the exclusive basic cable home for the popular CBS daytime drama The Young and the Restless, TVGN announced today. The acquisition of The Young and the Restless marks the first TVGN programming announcement as part of the new CBS Corporation/Lionsgate partnership. HBO renews Game of Thrones for Season 4

HBO did not waste much time in picking up its dramatic fantasy hit Game of Thrones for a fourth season following the series’ impressive Season 3 debut this past Sunday, March 31. Michael Lombardo, president, HBO Programming, made the announcement today. According to early data provided by HBO, the Game of Thrones Season 3 premiere on Sunday topped the series’ highs, with record viewership for both the 9pm ET/PT airing and the gross audience across its three plays. ABC announced today the release of new prints capturing moments and cast shots from each of General Hospital‘s first five decades, to commemorate the General Hospital 50th anniversary, being celebrated this week.
