AXS TV airs live coverage of Coachella performances

The second weekend of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival will be broadcast live for the first time when AXS TV airs coverage of various performances April 18-20, at 9pm ET each night. AXS TV’s broadcast is hosted by KCRW music director and DJ Jason Bentley, and encompasses over 20 hours of live coverage, spanning five stages of the festival. This summer, the latest concert tour based off NBC’s hit competition series The Voice will feature contestants from the show, including this season’s top finalists and favorite past stars. The 31-show The Voice Tour 2014 will launch June 21 in San Antonio, and will hit various cities across the country before ending Aug. 2 in Redmond, WA. Pharrell Williams named coach for The Voice Season 7

Pharrell Williams’ big year continues. Fresh off his Oscar-nominated song “Happy” from the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack and his Grammy-winning collaboration with Daft Punk on “Get Lucky,” the singer has been named a coach for The Voice Season 7, replacing the departing Cee Lo Green. This isn’t Williams’ first experience with The Voice. Last month, Madison Rising — billed as “America’s most patriotic rock band” — went viral with their take on the “Star-Spangled Banner” at Daytona. Telemundo announces La Voz Kids Season 2 premiere date

La Voz Kids Season 2 will premiere Sunday, March 16, at 8pm ET on Telemundo, the network announced today. Daisy Fuentes and Jorge Bernal will return as hosts, with Roberto Tapia and Prince Royce back as music coaches. Tapia and Royce are joined by new coach Natalia Jiménez (the three coaches are pictured below). This season, the show will be produced out of Universal Studios Florida.
