Premio Lo Nuestro 2014 performers and presenters

Premio Lo Nuestro 2014, airing live on Univision Feb. 20 with red-carpet coverage starting at 7pm ET and the awards at 8pm ET, is the 26th installment of the longest-running Latin music awards show in the United States. Started in 1988, Premio Lo Nuestro recognizes excellence in four musical genres — Pop, Tropical, Regional Mexican and Urban. TCA: NBC’s next live musical event will be “Peter Pan”

Following the great success of its The Sound of Music Live!, starring Carrie Underwood, back in December (which brought nearly 19 million viewers to its live broadcast on Dec. 5), NBC announced today at the Television Critics Association (TCA) Winter Press Tour that it will be producing another live musical for television. Sing a song of Archer — a whole CD of them in fact. Today at the Television Critics Association press tour, FX announced it will release a 12-track Archer CD entitled “Cherlene” — in homage to the new, country-music warbling alter ego of Judy Greer’s Cheryl Tunt — on all digital platforms Monday, Feb. 17. While the ads have been stressing a return to form for American Idol, FOX’s talent-show behemoth will have some changes in store when Season 13 — heretofore known as American Idol XIII — debuts this week.
