I’ve never been to Charleston, but I’ve been up in Greenville and it was quite lovely, even the hot boiled peanuts. SCI FI Channel‘s Ghost Hunters International debuted Wednesday night as the network’s No. 1 reality telecast in its history, and bested its broadcast time slot competition, including the dreadful, and dreadfully popular, Gossip Girl. NBC’s revived American Gladiators premiered Sunday with this season’s highest adult 18-49 rating for any new series premiere, and was the Peacock’s top new series debut since Heroes back in 2006, and led the network to its highest non-sports rating during the Sunday 9-11pm ET time period in three years. “We’re extremely excited by the response to American Gladiators,” said John Wallace, president of NBC Local Media Division, in perhaps an understatement. Finally! Project Runway has emerged from the depths of their Christmas break. Not that the designers actually TOOK a break during filming, but we can live with the delusion that Project Runway designers aren’t completely sleep deprived.
