CBS and Worldwide Pants Incorporated, David Letterman’s production company, announced today that Letterman will host his final broadcast of Late Show with David Letterman on Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Leslie Moonves, president and CEO of the CBS Corporation, said in a release, “David Letterman has given to all of us a remarkable legacy of achievement and creative brilliance that will never be forgotten. It’s going to be tough to say goodbye, but I know we will all cherish the shows leading up to Dave’s final broadcast in May.” Letterman is the longest-tenured late-night talk show host at over 32 years. Craig Ferguson will be ending his run on CBS’ The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson on Dec. 19 (Ferguson’s replacement, James Corden, will begin The Late Late Show With James Corden on March 9). CBS yesterday announced the lineup of guests over the final three weeks of Craig Ferguson’s show. It’s Tebow Time for ABC’s Good Morning America. The network announced today that former NFL quarterback and Heisman Trophy-winning college football star Tim Tebow will be adding a contributor role on GMA to his current and continuing roles as ESPN and SEC Network analyst (both those networks are also in the ABC-Disney family). Barbra Streisand to appear on “The Tonight Show” for first late-night guest appearance in decades

Legendary singer Barbra Streisand will be making her first late-night talk show appearance as a guest in over 50 years, according to NBC, when she appears on the network’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Sept. 15. Streisand will be the only featured guest on that night’s show, which a release says will be “a night of talk, comedy and performance to celebrate the upcoming release of her new album Partners.” Streisand’s new Partners album will be released the day after her Tonight Show appearance, on Sept. 16. Along with the new studio, set, production team and logo announced recently, ABC’s The View is also shaking things up with two new co-hosts, the network announced yesterday: Rosie Perez and Nicolle Wallace.
