“Family Guy” cast appears on new “Actors Studio”

By Jeff Pfeiffer A few years ago, Bravo’s Inside the Actors Studio brought on the voice cast of The Simpsons for a very memorable interview, with each cast member alternating between his or her real identity and animated alter-ego. Things should be similarly entertaining in a new Actors Studio this Monday, September 14, when Seth MacFarlane, Alex Borstein, Mike Henry and Seth Green (pictured left to right) talk to host James Lipton as both themselves and their respective Family Guy characters. Sorry, Meg fans (if there are any) — Mila Kunis will not be there. But we can expect to […]

Cesar Millan and Scooby-Doo celebrate the big four-oh

Today in Los Angeles, noted dog behaviorist Cesar Millan (of the hit series Dog Whisperer) teamed up with noted cartoon dog Scooby-Doo to celebrate each other’s 40th birthday. The event, held at the East Valley Animal Shelter in Van Nuys, also raised awareness of pet adoption and garnered $10,000 for the Cesar and Ilusion Millan Foundation, courtesy of a Cartoon Network donation. DJ AM’s last interview was personal, giving addicts hope

By Barb Oates It seemed at age 36 Adam Goldstein (a.k.a. DJ AM) had finally overcome his demons. When we met in July, I never imagined he would be dead four weeks later — allegedly falling victim to the drug he so faithfully and confidently professed his sobriety to. Having survived last year’s devastating plane crash that killed four people and critically injured him and blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, he said to me: “I often sometimes go, ‘Why am I still here? How am I still here?’ And then I realize I’m never going to get the answer to that. […]
