A&E announced to day that Duck Dynasty Season 6 will premiere Wednesday, June 11 at 10/9CT. In the Season 6 premiere episode, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal announces that he will stop by the Duck Commander headquarters to present Willie with a special ward.  John Luke volunteers to make an introductory speech, which inspired Willie and Uncle Si to offer up some unsolicited advice. Ludacris will host the Billboard Music Awards 2014, which airs live from Las Vegas May 18 at 8pm ET on ABC. A live-stream of the two-hour pre-show will be available on Yahoo, billboardmusicawards.com and billboard.com starting at 6pm ET. The Billboard Music Awards 2014 are the latest installment of the annual ceremony that showcases the year’s biggest musical stars. CBS announced its new lineup for the 2014-15 TV season at its upfront presentation today, with the network’s strategy of “stability with opportunity” and the retiring of the term “midseason” the big takeaways. CBS looks to launch new shows year round with fewer reruns, and has 90 hours of new original programs this summer, highlighted by the return of Under the Dome and new series Extant. ABC presented its 2014-2015 primetime schedule live from New York’s Lincoln Center late Tuesday afternoon. After an opening montage of highlights from all of the Disney brands, Anne Sweeney, president of Disney/ABC Television Group, touted the strength of the network’s daytime lineup, noting in particular that The Chew is daytime’s fastest growing program and Good Morning America is still No. 1 in its timeslot.
