Kim Kardashian lands love interest role on “Drop Dead Diva”

Maybe an actual angel from heaven — or at least purgatory — will finally be the one to win Kim Kardashian’s heart for good. Or least for a multiple-episode story arc. On a fictional television show. Kardashian has landed a guest-starring role on the fourth season of the Lifetime favorite Drop Dead Diva, playing Nikki, the new paramour of Jane’s adorable guardian angel, Fred (Ben Feldman, right). But the very unreal gent faces some very real romantic challenges when Nikki teams up with his former dream girl — and Jane’s bestie — Stacy (April Bowlby) in a new business venture. “I’m […]

Updated! “America’s Most Wanted” makes three captures since Lifetime debut

Lifetime has announced that America’s Most Wanted — John Walsh’s venerable crime-fighting series, which was dropped by FOX last June  — has garnered its first captures since being picked up for a 25th season by the female-skewing network in December. Antonio Barnes and Earl Jackson — who’d been on the lam since an Oct. 2009 shootout in Washington, DC, that killed two people and injured five — were apprehended Jan. 14 in Charlotte, N.C., after an AMW viewer saw them on the show’s Jan. 6 episode and called its information tip line. Multiple local and federal law enforcement agencies were involved […]

Forgive me, Dance Mom Nation, for I am an episode behind, having been sequestered at a hotel in Pasadena covering the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour. I’m all caught up now and will recap the premiere (I think. Eventually.), but in the interest of staying current, let’s forge ahead with last night’s humdinger, “Return of the Candy Apples.” • Watch “Return of the Candy Apples and other full episodes of Dance Moms online Before I dive in, let me issue a correction to early posts in which I said Brooke and MacKenzie did not return for this second season. “Project Runway All Stars” Says ‘Auf’ With The Old, In With The Old?

Fans are in for a real shakeup when the new Project Runway All Stars premieres on Lifetime, Jan. 5. No Heidi Klum. No Michael Kors. No Nina Garcia. And — gasp — no Tim Gunn. Not to worry, though. There will still be plenty of familiar faces. The returning “All Stars” are some of the most beloved designers — Mondo Guerra, Austin Scarlett, Sweet P — from seasons past, and […]
