MLB NLCS 2014 TV schedule: Giants vs. Cardinals

The best-of-seven-game National League Championship Series between the San Francisco Giants and the St. Louis Cardinals begins Saturday, Oct. 11, at 8pm ET on FOX. FOX will air Games 1 and 6 (if necessary), with FOX Sports 1 airing the other games. For Game 1, FOX Sports 1 will airs a simulcast of the game featuring emphasis on advanced stats and Sabermetrics from its Just a Bit Outside experts and analysts. Baseball fans looking to tune in to nationally televised MLB games on Saturday afternoons will have to look in a slightly different place this season. The traditional FOX Saturday Baseball Game of the Week that aired on broadcast TV throughout the entire regular season has been cut back significantly. FOX airs only 12 Saturday games in 2014 (schedule is below), with an expanded schedule of games now airing on FOX Sports 1, including most Saturdays.
