The entire staff gathered together and argued out the merits of this season’s new broadcast series to compile our top 10 best fall TV shows of 2015 (we held off on midseason, as our list would have been far too long). The Grinder (FOX) The Grinder never settles! Rob Lowe and Fred Savage have great chemistry as brothers with polar-opposite personalities. Savage plays a small-time Boise lawyer, while Lowe plays a high-octane, big-time attorney … on TV. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (The CW) Who wouldn’t give up life in NYC for hip West Covina, Calif.?!? TCA: CW brings Matt Ryan’s John Constantine to “Arrow”

At The CW’s executive session at the Television Critics Association (TCA) press tour today, the network announced that Matt Ryan, late of NBC’s Constantine, will be reprising his role of John Constantine in a one-shot episode of Arrow (the fifth episode of the hit show’s upcoming fourth season, called “Haunted”). Both Constantine and Green Arrow are DC properties (Constantine from the book Hellblazer), and this crossover should give some amount of satisfaction to the fans who were dismayed when NBC pulled the plug on Constantine. Also of note, The CW is developing a series based on the hit romantic film The Notebook, with the input of […]

Either way, I’m going to make sure to enjoy these last two episodes of the show since I know they’re going to be filled with lots of drama. Just how I like it! Jane’s known for planning everything out in her life so there are no surprises. That’s why when something as crazy and unplanned as becoming a pregnant virgin popped up into her life, she didn’t exactly know where to […]

Jane the Virgin Chapter 20 Recap: Luchar!

On Chapter 20 of Jane the Virgin, we return to Jane and Alba in the car looking at Petra and her mother. Alba begins to explain to Jane that her so-called accidental falling down the stairs wasn’t really an accident. She tells Jane that it was the night of the awards at the afterparty when Alba decided she was going to give Petra a piece of her mind for being so rotten to Jane. Instead of Petra coming to the door, her mother answered it — but she was in a wheelchair. Alba got a glimpse of Petra’s ex-hostage Ivan […]

Jane the Virgin Chapter 18 Recap: Monster-in-Law

On Chapter 18 of Jane the Virgin, Rafael still doesn’t seem to be putting Jane before his hotel, leaving her supported only by a wall at a birthing class. Jane doesn’t need to talk negatively about Rafael to her mother to only further prove Xo is right about Rafael being the wrong guy for Jane. Instead Jane turns to Andie to vent, which might not have been the very best decision. Jane tells Andie the huge doubts she’s been having about Rafael and Andie’s advice is to stay calm because it’s only hormones that are making her feel this way. Yeah, I’m […]
