The Ocean Course at the Kiawah Island Golf Resort in South Carolina hosts the PGA Championship, the final major of 2012. Luke Donald, Rory McIlroy, Lee Westwood, Webb Simpson, Bubba Watson, Jason Dufner, Matt Kuchar, Justin Rose, Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods are among the contenders to take home the Wanamaker trophy and end the season on a high note. If some of the European golfers participating in this week’s PGA Championship appear to feel at home on the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island Golf Resort in South Carolina, it’s probably because it plays much more like something you’d find on the other side of the pond. With the way the course is designed, 10 holes run alongside the Atlantic Ocean and are subjected to inconsistent winds. “The Closer”: Kyra Sedgwick says goodbye (video)

With the final six episodes of The Closer beginning tonight, TNT has released this video in which star Kyra Sedgwick emotionally reflects on playing Brenda Leigh Johnson for seven seasons, and tearfully thanks the cast, crew and fans of the series. The behind-the-scenes video also shows her wrapping her final scene as Brenda. By her own choice, Emmy winner Kyra Sedgwick wraps up her seven-season TNT run as police interrogator extraordinaire Brenda Leigh Johnson with six final episodes beginning July 9. As the preceding stories started to establish, the character’s past catches up with her as she’s investigated herself for certain actions taken in the course of doing her job.
