How to contact Theresa Caputo, star of TLC’s “Long Island Medium”

Theresa Caputo, the star of TLC’s series Long Island Medium, says she was 28 when she was first introduced to the possibility that she was a medium. It took another five years for her to actually accept her gift.

“There’s a big difference from when I accepted it to who am I?” Caputo told us. She said she struggled with feeling, “I’m no different than anybody else. Why was I chosen to do this? Why is this my journey?”

The aftermath of 9/11 left her with clarity and a feeling of  purpose for what she calls her role in the physical world. Now Caputo spends her days and nights taking her clients on an emotional and spiritual journey with the afterlife. She helps people find closure and/or reconnect some with loved ones who have passed.

UPDATE 2/1/2013 – The BEST way to contact Caputo is through her new website: www.theresacaputo.com

Her phone number that was previously listed here is no longer in service, so we removed from the post. When we last talked to Theresa (January 2012), she told us the best way to reach her is via her new website at www.theresacaputo.com. This was an update to what TLC previously provided (Longislandmedium@gmail.com). That email address we have tried and have never gotten a response. Her wait time is over two years at this point, due to the popularity of the show.

Surprisingly, Caputo has built her career on word of mouth only and has done little to no marketing. When asked if she’s ready for what a TV series will bring as far as popularity, Caputo says: “Absolutely not. I still think this is like a school project. It’s so not reality yet for me. My life is overwhelming as it is, as of right now, my waiting list to get an appointment is… I don’t have any availability until January 2013.”

  11. Hi Theresa,

I’m writting in hopes that you will read this & you will be able to help.
I am trying to save my sister. I had my only other sister drink herself to death, and now my other sister is doing the same thing. My family doesn’t want this to happen again. I am really hoping you could help bring my sister through to give the sister here a message. I am trying anything I can think of to get to her.
She watches your show, as do I and would love for you to help. I really think she would listen, and get the help we want to get her.

God bless you & your beautiful family.

  12. I would like to get a personal reading and bring my Grandma. She was married to my grandfather for 39 years. It’s been a little over 6 since he’s passed. My Grandma and I have struggles with his passing everyday. Plus, in that same year less than 6 months later my Grandma on my fathers side passed on Thanksgiving. I’ve been losing the people I am closest to in the past 5 years and I just would like any small amount of closure that I can. Being 27 years old I really want to know if my grandfather would have approved of my fiancée before we get married. He was the only man that was ever consistent in my life. Thank you. Hopefully I will be lucky
enough to meet you one day. Thank you for your time.

  13. Dear Theresa,
Im not exactly sure how much if any information I am permitted to give but like the many others that contact you I would love so much to get a private reading. I have had two very big losses and I really struggle with those losses. I know you are quite busy, but if you should have time I would love very much to connect. My daughter and I are Long Island Medium fans to a very large degree, we love your show and get such a kick out of your husband and two kids, you create many outbursts of laughter in our home, which is so welcoming! I hope to hear from you.
    Sincerely,
    Laurie

I didnt make it home in time to see her before she passed. she was my rock and saving grace…….she ALWAYS knew when i needed her even 502 miles away….what you do is totally what she believed in. I miss her so so so very much….i am waiting for her to visit me in my dreams or any kind of sign to know she’s ok. I hope she comes to you and i hear from you! God bless you for all you do…..it is truely amazing!

  15. MY HUSBAND AND I LOVE YOUR SHOW AND YOU AND YOUR HUSBANDS PERSONALITIES. SO FUNNY! YAL REMIND US OF OURSELVES.

  16. Hello, my name is Regena! I am 26 years old. Five years ago, my cousin was taken from us. His death was ruled a suicide, but there was another person with him when it happened. After the case was closed, the young girl whom was his ex girlfriend, began telling different stories about what had happened. The forensic evidence doesn’t match up to the wond he had and there was absolutely no reason for him to do this. He was an amazing, loving, hard working person. He just started a great job and was looking forward to the upcoming hunting season! Our family is still at a loss for closure. We don’t know where to begin to heal, because we can’t believe he took his own life. Anyway, this is our struggle in a nut shell. It would be wonderful to hear from you. Thank you- Regena

  17. dear theresa, I am a huge fan, I lost my father 30 years ago, & still carry a lot of guilt. I would love to be able to hear from him & hopefully put this behind me
