How to contact Theresa Caputo, star of TLC’s “Long Island Medium”

Theresa Caputo, the star of TLC’s series Long Island Medium, says she was 28 when she was first introduced to the possibility that she was a medium. It took another five years for her to actually accept her gift.

“There’s a big difference from when I accepted it to who am I?” Caputo told us. She said she struggled with feeling, “I’m no different than anybody else. Why was I chosen to do this? Why is this my journey?”

The aftermath of 9/11 left her with clarity and a feeling of  purpose for what she calls her role in the physical world. Now Caputo spends her days and nights taking her clients on an emotional and spiritual journey with the afterlife. She helps people find closure and/or reconnect some with loved ones who have passed.

UPDATE 2/1/2013 – The BEST way to contact Caputo is through her new website: www.theresacaputo.com

Her phone number that was previously listed here is no longer in service, so we removed from the post. When we last talked to Theresa (January 2012), she told us the best way to reach her is via her new website at www.theresacaputo.com. This was an update to what TLC previously provided (Longislandmedium@gmail.com). That email address we have tried and have never gotten a response. Her wait time is over two years at this point, due to the popularity of the show.

Surprisingly, Caputo has built her career on word of mouth only and has done little to no marketing. When asked if she’s ready for what a TV series will bring as far as popularity, Caputo says: “Absolutely not. I still think this is like a school project. It’s so not reality yet for me. My life is overwhelming as it is, as of right now, my waiting list to get an appointment is… I don’t have any availability until January 2013.”

  1. If you come to visit me you will be overwhelmed with “spirit”. SO, I am cordially inviting you to Happy Hour at our humble home in Texas. Come on down. I will pick you up at the airport. (You wear a lot of black and white, love it) I love you and your show. Sometimes I feel I have the same gift as you, but it is probably either gas or menopause. We are from Missouri and my husband is the “show me” kind of guy. It would be so much fun to see him turn into a believer like me. Peace!

  2. Dear therrsa

  3. My younger sister lost her husband six months ago and the events are shrouded in mystery. It is difficult for her to help my nieces (11 and 14) to move on, when the details are missing. I would pay anything and do anything to help them gain clarity. You will be close to where she lives (drivable distance) when you are in Stockton, San Jose, and Cerritos during your tour in northern California. Is there any way to arrange to see you privately? I understand you have a long waiting list, and whenever you have a space in the future, I will do what I can to help her get to see you. Bless you. I love what you do.

I have been saying images of ppl where ever i look and stare at something. What is that mean? It all started in 2005.

  9. Dear Theresa
I have been Haunted for so many years by spirits and or ghosts and have had some ex-husbands relatives place Black Magic on me…?? not sure if this is just something of my imagination or not but I do believe their is something or someone trying to either talk to me or hurt me. As i get older i get more and more aware of what might be on the “other side” it not only has disturbed me, but i also have lost a lot of sleep over the years. I was wondering since i have seen your show, and also my sisters have met you just recently at a radio station broadcast show I believe this just might be a sign for you and I also to meet… I would love to meet with you and speak to you to see what is really going on. I do look forward that one day we will meet and see if this is really just bad dreams or maybe someone is trying to tell me something.

    Thank you Mona

  15. We are going to see you in Stockton California. Because you will be so close I would love to have a private reading. I recently lost my mother and feeling that I need to connect with her. If possible please contact me on how I go about seeing you. Thank you

  16. I can only imagine how the waiting list to have a session with you is most likely years away. I plan on trying to make it happen sooner than later. My family means absolutely everything to me. I have three people in my family whom I wish for you to visit. First is my darling aggravatingly amazing mother. Sadly she lost her mother when she was young, and if anyone wants just a single moment with someone who has passed. I can firmly assure you it would be my mom. Second is my gentle yet stern father. My dad lost Pop in 2001. He was a grand part of our lives. My dad likes to be strong, but I feel he needs to just hear that Pop is still there. Lastly would be a new addition to my family. My brother-in-law who is only 30 years young, tragically lost his younger brother/best friend just 2 years ago. My parents now live in NC. As for my brother-in-law, he still lives in North Jersey. I write to you from Florida. It’s hard to be so far from the people I love. I would like to give them a gift. Clearly that gift is a visit from you. Please have someone get in touch with me, so we can pursue much needed closure. Thank you so very much for your time, I truly look forward to hopefully hearing from you.
