What happened to SPEED channel? On Aug. 17, SPEED becomes FOX Sports 1 on all major pay-TV providers. Many of the auto racing events previously airing on SPEED will now air on FS1.
On Saturday, Aug. 17, at 8am ET, SPEED will become FOX Sports 1, a new national sports network featuring live college football, auto racing, UFC, soccer, news shows and more. In most cases, the FOX Sports 1 channel will be the same channel formerly held by SPEED. Many of the auto racing events previously airing on SPEED will still air on FS1, including the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race, practice and qualifying, and complementary programming like NASCAR Live. Select NASCAR Sprint Cup races will come to FS1 beginning in 2015.

Bring back The Speed Channel! Since the demise of the Speed Channel, I have refused to watch anything on Fox Sports 1! To the Fox execs, you have alienated yourselves from a very, very large portion of sports fanatics by replacing Speed, with FoxS1. We can get all the sports on FoxS1 elsewhere, we want motor sports only back!!!!!!!

Where is Pass Time, Pinks All Out, Pinks, My Classic Car, Chop Cut Rebuild, Gearz, Car Crazy, Livin The Low Life, Pimp My Ride, The Car Show, Barret Jackson, Truck Universe, victory Circle, Wind Tunnel with Dave Despain, Two Guys Garage, Drag Race High, Super Cars Exposed and I am sick of seeing Nascar on ESPN, and TNT I want them on Speed where they belong. Bring back my SPEED the Motor sports Channel.

I upgraded my DirectTV package so I could get Speed TV
Where can I watch Victory Circle, Dave Despan, Pass Time, My Classic Car, Swamp Buggy and any other thing that has to do with Motor sports. 24/7 Motor sports. Come on people look at the big picture why is all that sponsership money being tossed.
The speed channel was my favorite channel I work a lot of hours and the one channel I look forward to watching when I’m home was the speed channel, I don’t care about other sports I like racing and you just took away my way of unwinding Thanks to who ever made that dumb decision, You should never mess with perfection

BRING BACK OUR SPEED CHANNEL!!!! We are car/truck/motorsport people and this was our only channel. We did NOT need another generic sport channel. Come on network people….read this responses and do the right thing.
I watch speed channel all the time. Bring back speed channel. I will be trying to find a cable company that caries speed channel.
What the hell, where’s shows like TruckU and Gearz? I watch these all the time now what?
I’m a big fan of formula 1 and now I can not watch it. We already have NFL TV, ESPN, ESPN2, and other sports networks. For us racing fans this is all we had and now that has been taken away. Its like taking candy away from a baby. This channel sucks and I’m very disappointed that it has been taken off air. I watch Football only on Sundays, I do not need to see it everyday on another sports network.
Who ever made the call to drop speed over what we have or mostly don’t have IS NOT PAYING ATTention,Being a business owner I can see this being a LOSS not a gain.
The ONLY reason I upgraded my FIOS package was to get Speed! Why can’t people leave things that aren’t broke ALONE!!??? That channel was geared toward car guys/gals and how we have nothing once again. There are TOO MANY “Sport” channel already – none of which I will be watching!

I miss SPEED! I played football for 10 years, there are plenty of channels for football so when and if I want to watch it I’ll find one. Don’t mix it and the stupid commentary in on my car channel – If you don’t have NFL stars out on a road coarse laying down so decent lap times in their exotics I don’t want to see them. I miss all the other programs beside racing, HotRod TV, Car Crazy, My Classic Car, Gearz, Pass Time, Pinks, etc. What can we do to get it back? Please, somebody with “the power” respond.

Please bring back Speed Channel! Only two channels I like HGTV and Speed. The so called Fox 1 SUCKS! If I wanted to know more about football or fighting I would watch ESPN. You took Race Day and made it one hour and Race Round up is gone! Loved the other shows in Speed too! I’m sure you stuffed your pockets more by cutting great shows.
