I don’t watch fighting,football,hocky,baseball,etc.I watch racing,fs1 sucks!!!!
If you cannot bring back Speed Channel back, at least have another net work with all the program ie; My Classic Car, Gerzs, Hot Rod TV, Car Crazy, 2 Guys Garage etc. There is an audience that is left without anything to watch. We don’t need another sports channel show the same football, baseball, basketball clips. FOX you messed up big time!
was it to much to have one channel for the car enthusiasts now we have another sports channel that takes up space some of us enjoy cars thanks alot for nothing,
FS/1 total garbage!!!!!
I just sent an email to fox sports, for what its worth maybe more people could send there complaints and see if it would change anything
I wonder if we can write someone and complain about this and if it would help, speed channel was the only channel my son and i could enjoy in this messed up world of cable
This new Fox channel sucks, plain and simple. There’s enough other bullshit programs with their opinions covering all the NON FUEL sports! It was bad enough when SPEED dropped the coverage of the World Rally Championship, yes I know a lot of people aren’t into that BUT, the coverage was awesome. It was geeting woerse with all the NASCAR Hollywood bullshit, “who’s got what haircut, who’s pissed off”, who cares! SHUT UP AND RACE! We NEED are real CAR/TRUCK/BIKE/BOAT fuel ONLY burning channel! Let all the Yuppie NON GEARHEAD people watch the Fox Shit! Channel!!!!!!!!!!!
This is bulls&*t. Does anyone know what provider offers speed now. I have dish and its gone, my buddy has comcast and he cant get it there either.
WTF that was the only channel I watched. Now its crap what the hell??? This shit aint funny I WANT SPEED BACK
My husband is so upset because you took off the speed channel! Fox sports 1 does not show all the news about racing on race day and after the race is over. He does not like the new fox channel and wants SPEED channel back!!!!
its just like every thing else we don’t have a say so in any of this. I will miss my pass time and pinks all out now the only drag racing we will see is on ESPN at 10:00 at night
bring back SPEED! fox ******up! can’t believe this, I for one will be going somewhere else for my car fix, and dish for for passing along another TRASH channel with all the other advertisement channels we already have I will be canceling my script I’m tired of paying good money and being feed garage ,250 channels of trash and now speed is gone see ya!
This is unreal I don’t watch sports at all I am a race fan cannot believe that the speed channel would go to fox sports 1 without some kind of fight this SUCK ASS give me back my speed channel.
Well; To make it short and sweet; the fs1 sucks. Why would you change the format from auto’s; to a total sports Football, and sports update dribble. You took a already established network for auto enthusiasts and totally ruined it. Way to go FOX.
I have my current carier AT&T Uverse because of the Speed Channel. I am now looking for a replacement. Do I use Dish or Computer TV.
Fox was my favorite network, it appears we are less important to them than trash.
WTF What were they thinking is anyone standing up to the network and getting them to put Speed back on the air.
WHAT happened to the speed channel? It was part of my life I spent 3 hrs. a day watching pass time and pinks all out . Us older guys relived our youths every time we turned it on . I could find parts for my hot rod , and enjoyed watching it every day.
Bring it back for us all middle age men
I watched the speed channel roughly 3 hrs. a day Pass time and pinks were part of my weekly life . It gave me information on my car and were to get parts. In my opinion you should bring it back , us middle aged guys are lost.
There are about 100 guys watching these shows . We relive our youth every day we see these shows Bring back our SPEED TV
Hey!! guys and gals. On Directv, check out MAVTV on channel 214 it has a variety on motor sports programs. Maybe these fine fokes will pick up some of the programs that were on SPEED TV, since those low life’s at fox screwed us.
Fox Sports 1 / Speed Channel
First thing for you to know: The fact that I take the time to sit and put thoughts to keyboard, means this is very important to me.
In my opinion, there was a very loyal following to the Speed Channel and the broad based automotive related programming it provided.
My favorites were Stacey David’s GERZ, Hot Rod TV, Chop Cut Rebuild, Two Guys Garage, Car Crazy and My Classic Car in no particular order. I also enjoyed the coverage of the various forms of motor racing, not so much NASCAR, but the wide variety it offered.
These programs accounted for around 10 percent of my television watching. All from one channel amongst the 250 + channels I receive. Think about that for a moment….
Am I a gearhead / car enthusiast? Absolutely. I am also a father, husband, engineer, community participant, etc. I buy food, clothing, electronics, and lots of cars parts I see those car parts advertised during these programs I watch. Are you not aware of the economics of the hot rod , automobile, racing, off road enthusiast industry? Did you see any stagnation of this industry during the last few years during the US economic downturn? Not nearly as much as other industries. The car enthusiast continued to work on his vehicles throughout this timeframe. And he continued to watch the Speed Channel.
I have watched Speed grow into a very broad based automotive channel with much enthusiasm and appreciation for what it offered the viewer. Everyone I know, who is into automobiles, is (was) familiar with the Speed Channel.
So, to learn of the demise of this wealth of programming is very disappointing and aggravating.
I do not understand why FOX would take such a well-watched channel and turn it into an entirely different format when you could have created another channel while maintaining Speed. You have slapped the automotive enthusiast in the face, so to speak.
My desire would be for FOX / another network to pick up all the programming you have discarded. I suspect it unlikely for FOX to reverse its decision however. In my opinion this was a bad decision. It certainly is a negative outcome for the automotive enthusiast.
You can rest assured that I will reflect upon this negatively when faced with decisions in the future related to channel packages and watching any FOX network. Will I voice my opinions to others? Sure I will. It will be an easy conversation as everyone will already be aware that the Speed Channel has gone away.
Sincerely,
Jeff Pope
