What happened to Style network? Jerseylicious? Tia & Tamera?

“What happened to Style network?” will be the question of the evening when Esquire Network officially takes over the the 15-year-old network on Monday, Sept. 23 at 9pm ET with the premiere of Esquire’s 80th. Still in question is whether new episodes of Giuliana & Bill, Jerseylicious, Big Rich Texas and Tia & Tamera will find a home on any of NBCU’s other networks. Some of the shows are expected to simply end their run, while a few will most likely be worked into schedules on E!, Bravo or Oxygen.

UPDATE: Style Network TV to relaunch in Fall 2014! See feature.

What happened to Style Network and Giuliana and Bill?E! did confirm plans of airing the most recent seasons of Giuliana & Bill and Tia & Tamera starting in October. E! will begin re-airing Season 3 episodes of Tia & Tamera and already aired episodes of Giuliana & Bill’s sixth season on Tuesday nights starting Oct. 15 at 9pm ET, as well as new episodes of Giuliana & Bill next year. Season 3 of Tia & Tamera actually ended on Style Sunday, Sept. 22, and it’s unknown whether the series will see a fourth season. Oxygen will also be airing a 10-episode marathon of Season 3 of Tia & Tamera beginning Thursday, Sept. 26 at noon ET.

Syndicated series on Style, like Sex and the City, which originally ran on weekends, are interspersed heavily throughout the Esquire schedule, helping fill early morning, late-night and weekend time slots for the new net. Sex and the City, however, is littered all over the NBCU nets — you can catch it on E!, Oxygen and Bravo.

Clean House, which aired for nine seasons on Style, will also show up on Esquire — at least for the first week — filling the Wednesday, Sept. 25 morning block from 6am to 3pm ET.

At launch, Esquire had several original series including Knife Fight, Brew Dogs, Boundless and The Getaway. Similar to Style, Esquire will also help fill its programming schedule with blockbuster movies. The first few weeks, viewers of Esquire can expect titles like Ocean’s Thirteen, Casino Royale, Ghost Rider and Stripes, as well as popular series from Bravo like Million Dollar Listing, Chef Roble and Top Chef, and USA Network series like Psych and Burn Notice.

We will update you with further details on other former Style series as they are announced.

  1. it says that jerseylicious will air feb 25 on the CET channel does anyone kno what channel that is ? i live in nj and have fios ! im so pissed they changed style that was so stupid ! i Hate esquire

  2. This is awful. I was addicted to Jerseylicious and Big Rich Texas and now nothing? NBC can’t even put these shows on a sister network for us? The guys really needed another channel that only plays like 4 shows? This is not treating us fairly.

  3. We are sick of men taking over everything…see they don’t even listen when we beg them to please bring back what was working. Women really know how to make things work. If it is not broke why fix it????? That is NOT how men think, fix what is working just fine, or annoy the crap out of women!!!

  4. Just bring back style and all the shows the go with it. NBC made a bad choice by replacing it with the esquire channel. Oh yeah they better bring back big rich Texas, jerseylicious, glam fairy, big rich Atlanta, Tia & Tamara. I am not the type of women that just watches girly shows I love watching shows for men but this, what they are showing is garbage and another thing unless their brains have melted there is spike tv then there was G4 for gamers and now all they play is Japanese game shows. My opinion they should have done what they were going to do and put the esquire channel to G4, however that makes to much sense and in this world god forbid anyone uses their brain… HAHAHAHA now they are losing money and views.

  5. I want Jerseylicious back!! I loved the style network as well. Why on earth did they have to change it? From seeing these postings, I am not alone.. Wake up Esquire and bring back what the people want!!!!

  6. Who are the boobs that decided they knew what we wanted?? I have not watches this esq channel. I was repulsed with there schedual and have chosen not to partake of there tasteless channel.
We Love you Jerseylicious and Pray for your return to an UPscale channel.

  7. I would LOVE to see Jerseylicious back on TV. I miss all of them. I miss seeing what is going on in their lives at this time. Want to know how thw salons are doing and who is working for who. Please let me know if and when you fine out what is going on with the show. Let me know if it goes to another channel. Any channel that picks up Jerseylicious will be making a smart to do so.

  8. Several of the shows I look forward to disappeared. Bring back Tia and Tamara, Jerseylicous, and Bill & Guilliana! I’m hoping E! Or another channel will save the day!

  9. The Esquire Channel caters to Men and is clearly a mistake. I loved the previous Style channel format and Jerseylicous, Big Rich Texas and some of the other programing. Since the change I just scoot by ignoring Esquire. I don’t understand why they didn’t make room somewhere else for Esquire instead of taking down a popular format.

  10. loved big rich Texas and Jerseylicious.. I waited for these shows to comeback after watching all seasons and very disappointed.
    thought I missed them.
what were they thinking taking these good shows off. oh wait, they weren’t thinking!!…well another network will benefit if they pick these shows up..
would be great on bravo or VH1 or the E channel

  11. Jerseylicious was a hit show. They made a huge mistake replacing style network! No one that I know don’t even like esquire!

  12. We want Jerseylicious back….This is crazy you get us hooked on shows then take them off or end them because no room on schedule. Will find room for this show I hate Bill & Giuliana it’s a dumb show!

  13. I am so dissapointed that this new network is’nt showing any of the shows from style . I have been waiting for the new season of jerseylicious to air and I thought I missed it somehow. I have watched it from the beginning and have enjoyed ever minute. I think they had a great bunch of shows on there to watch and i think some other network would be smart to pick up those shows and thy will do really well. I don’t see Esquire doing as well!! 🙁
