Currently, the word is that History will be airing shows (including Ancient Aliens, The Universe and Modern Marvels) that previously were on H2.

ATTENTION: This silly business is evidence of something truly important happening. It goes beyond television programming. Yes, H2 was wonderful. It was smart, intriguing, and evocative. This Viceland channel simply sucks. It will lose money. It will cost cable companies business. Even we lowly Americans are higher quality people than this tripe is aimed at. And what really galls us is… A&E knew all this already.
It’s slimy moves like this that are designed to erode our society. This was never about cable TV. This was a desperate but pathetic measure, no a death throe, of the globalist agenda. The tide is turning.

Taking away H2 is the very thing that’s making me want to cut cable entirely and just get Netflix. I don’t need more stupid tv to watch. There are still some people who watch tv to learn something.
I signed a pition to request getting H2 back on the air ! If there are nearly 1,300 comments on this thread from loyal fans and prolly thousands of older age folks that wouldn’t know how to find one of these & those out there that are just to frustrated to even vent on how much they hate this new channel, just how much more do the ppl at this crappy channel need to have said ?? Why did us H2 fans have to have our favorite station taken to put this garbage on ? Why didn’t you take an open channel or one of the many useless Spanish channels ? I encourage all H2 viewers to go to A&E ‘s facebook page and complain about A&Es decision to replace a family oriented educational channel with this VICE channel garbage….which I believe is not family friendly…..History Channel 2 is owned by A&E and it was A&Es decision to do this….personally whoever at A&E who made this asinine decision should be fired immediately…shame on you A&E…..

The History 2 channel was educational, family friendly, and of interest to a much wider viewing audience. The Vice channel programming seems to be geared toward pot smoking gays, and they are only 10% of the population of the U.S. In other words, the viewing audience for the Vice channel is a very narrow viewing audience. Bring back the History 2 channel because it’s programming appeals to a much wide audience!!!!!!!! This is crap, if I wanted to watch american pickers 24/7 i would. H2 had all the cool shows, now I just watch American pickers and pawnstars. I tried watching viceland it it seems it’s either designed for the LBG community or all the pot head/drug users in the world and nothing on there interest’s me. I will prob be re-negotiationg my dish contract and remove history channel and Viceland from my viewing list

Just got home from an extended trip to find out H2 is gone. Viceland is awful. I have deleted it as a station pick. Who decided this? Wrong decision. I actually miss the old Biography channel and History International where I could actually see real biographies and watched real stories that were History. Bring them back and throw Vice out of your lineup.
It’s time to vote with my wallet….I am going to cancel my Dish network programming…..nothing but more and more and more commercials…..and less and less channels I want to watch!!! I pay over $1,800.00 per year to have “Viceland” force fed to me???? I don’t THINK so!!!! It’s back to free over the air channels for me……

There is one and only one reason i got direct tv and the package i got it was for H2. now my wife had this to say this is coming from her (you done gone and gayed it all up!!) Really despise viceland!! I can not believe that Dish Network is like so many other businesses in the world today! By taking what we like to watch away and giving us something that can’t be watched. I removed it from my list. And thinking about changing from Dish. My brother has changed now and I am very close. Big disappointment
