Each episode focuses on a single city – from Compton, to Chicago, Miami, Las Vegas, Toronto, London, Sao Paolo and beyond – closely following the artists that are defining music today, while reflecting and reacting to the socio-political issues within that culture. (10pm ET)

WEEDIQUETTE_webWeediquette: Correspondent Krishna  Andavolu explores the impact of marijuana legalization across the U.S. and internationally, examining how people on all sides of this issue are dealing with the growing popularity and acceptance of this remarkable little plant. From doctors looking for radical new therapies, to veterans experimenting with marijuana as a PTSD cure, from the small farmers of the “Emerald Triangle”, to the encroaching “factory farmers,” everyone has a story to tell. (11pm ET)

  1. Now all of the pseudo science and pseudo history programs will be broadcast on the History Channel preempting real history programming. Who is now running the History Channel, Erich von Däniken? This is really a low blow to true History lovers.

  2. Agree, 400 channels of crap. History channel was the last channel without a sexual agenda, or some other perverse agenda, aside from other riveting shows like, My Dog is Gay, The Mailman is a Ax Murderer, We’re out of Milk, Naked and Afraid at Walmart and all the other great shows, cough, cough. Now, we’re talking about, do we really need satellite or Direct TV…….after I’m done typing this, I’ll go see what Dish is up to.

  3. Extremely disappointed about H2. It was in the top 3 stations we watched the most. Viceland is complete garbage!!!!!!!! This contributes to the mis-information age and the dumbing down of America or for that matter the dumbing down of our entire world.

  4. Viceland ………. more mind numbing demented crap from the media!!! Seriously considering alacarte TV instead of 400 channels of worthless propaganda.

  5. Vice land suuuuucckkksss. Bring back h2 idiots and fire whoever thought vice land was any good.

  6. Viceland has the worst programming. Stuff that would only be shown on the most obscure indie channels. And now History only shows the same shows ALL day. May as well take that off too. You’ve killed TV for me.

  7. On H2 my wife & I watched very informative, interesting & thought provoking programs. I guess someone really does not want the American people to have intelligent programs to watch. Vice is only relatable to a select few viewers, not the public as a whole! Bring H2 back, give the customer who pays for the channels the choice of good history programs or wasting brain cells on programs like Vice. Thank you, and have a nice Day!

  8. I have nothing, nothing in common with Vice Land. History 2 Channel is (was) a thinking person’s channel. Why can’t Dish bring back H2 on another channel. Pawn Stars and American Pickers 24/7, nope, I’ve blocked Vice Land 121 and stopped watching History, all together. Can’t waste my viewer dollars much longer.

    Ta, Ta

  9. What kind of genius decision was this? H2 was my favorite history channel! Now we are left with pawn stars and the like instead of history programming. Nice. This new channel is terrible and we had no warning!
    Thanks but no thanks.

  10. Vice sucks, and so do the idiots that think the kind of people that liked history 2’s programs, would like this new, far left, freak parade BS.
    Who is in charge here?
Your market person is an idiot.

    • I am with you 100% Ricky!!
Stupidest move imaginable – I watched H2 EVERY NIGHT, but Viceland is such a stinkbomb I now watch almost NO tv. What do you advertisers think of that? I am certainly not alone.

  11. Dropping H2 is VERY disappointing… H2 was my go to history channel… I haven’t seen anything interesting on the Viceland lineup… I hope that my favorite programs will turn up on the History Channel but so far… I haven’t seen them.

  12. I knew when the shit company AT&T took over DirecTV would go downhill. Vice sucks. H2 was my favorite channel. I am dumping DirecTV.

  13. H 2 shows are not on history 1 it’s same crap that’s always on pawn stars and american pickers over and over

  14. I’m pissed alone with everyone else about history 2 being replaced it was my favorite channel vice land is trash why not create another channel without replacing history 2 this sucks

    • I’m getting ready to ditch most of my Time Warner package, and when I do I’ll let them know how much they suck. I’ll have to keep Roadrunner because the only viable option here is Frontier, and they suck even worse than TWC. I really wish we had Verizon FIOS. I had FIOS before I moved here and their bundles and service are VASTLY superior to TWC bundles!

So I’ll end up with the following for about $30 a month less than my TWC bundle:

      Roadrunner Turbo

Fire TV + Amazon Prime + KODI + Playstation Vue

VUDU (App on my LG TV) – This is by far the best streaming pay-per-view service. Their library is huge!

      HD antenna

      MLBTV (team specific package)

      Straight Talk Home Phone

Playstation VUE – This is a GREAT service and I’m on a 7 day free trial. 104 channels for $45 a month. It has a decent guide and I set all my favorite channels so they show at the beginning of the guide. There’s also a favorite show function, when set for a specific show will automatically save all episodes for 28 days. It’s like a DVR on autopilot and it’s no extra cost! The only two channels not on VUE I regularly watch are Smithsonian and SNY (Mets games).
