Currently, the word is that History will be airing shows (including Ancient Aliens, The Universe and Modern Marvels) that previously were on H2.

who ever decided to take H2 off the air and replace it with another program should have have been fired. There are so many of us out here who thought highly of all the shows that were part of the H2 line up. Good luck to your Vicekand channel. I for one will never be watching or supporting that channel in anyway.

I am a former H2 channel viewer. I am not happy with the recent change of switching H2 to Viceland. I practically watched H2 almost everyday as the main channel I looked for in the cable lineup. But now it is gone it is sorely missed. Why did you not replace the FYI channel instead?
In the final week or so when H2 was being shutdown, the announcer promised the H2 programming would appear on the History Channel. I have been looking for over a month now and I don’t see any of the great shows appearing on History. So I decided to try the History App on Amazon Fire TV.and I see many of the H2 shows listed there however I am unable to watch the full shows. For example, I wanted to watch “10 things you didn’t know about” and all i get is tiny clips. So I logged into the App and still all I get is short clips of the episodes.
My sisters visited my home during their Spring Breaks in March and they also said they are angry about the H2 channel change. I was surprised they felt the same way I did but apparently they are H2 viewers too.
I have no interest in any of the current shows on History other than the Curse of Oak island. So now all I am left with is Nat Geo, Smithsonian channel, and Science Channel for quality programming. Discovery channel has become hopeless too.
If things don’t change soon with cable content, I am planning on dropping my TV service as I am not getting much value out of it any longer.

I loved H2. Now with it gone, i am going to give up tv. That was one of the few good channels. I have Viceland a chance and it just is awful.
First of all im 30 years old “the target audience” and the drop of h2 is a idiotic move in my opinion, as if mine or any other fan of the channel has an opinion that maters. I’ve made h2 part of my every day routine and looked forward to what it had to offer me. To see it replaced by this channel, which is directed toward the dimwitted jersey shore type youth, saddens me to my core. We might as well drop our cable or satellite for a book, because soon enough it will all be Kardashian or amish mafia in nature. This is their target demographic im sure.
H2 was one of the few cable channels worth watching — and now its been replaced by a stupid Millenials-pandering crap-fest. I wonder how long it will take the geniuses behind this decision to realize the epic mistake they’ve made ?
It’s official…. There is absolutely nothing on tv now…. seriously…. we got the upgraded package just for H2…. we can literally watch everything else on netflix… bye bye comcast!
I have a lot of channels, the main reason for that is to get h2 channel I had to have the more expensive package. I guess I can save more money, Dish Network

I loved H2. Watched it daily. A true American channel. It’s unfortunate to see that this is where our country is going, downhill. A country built on progression and hard work, now promotes smoking weed and this other garbage that is Viceland. I watched it for 5 minutes just to see, and it’s a joke. These idiots pretending that these are important or worthwhile topics. Sad.
I tried to watch Viceland. All I can say is yuck. I’m sure that if you ask the demographic with most of the buying power and not the “children”they will agree. Bring b ack H2 or at least let us stream the shows.

I watched the H2 channel every night before bed. With it gone I’m actually having trouble sleeping. Very depressed!
They don’t want the people to know any history. That is why it’s not taught in school anymore. If the people aren’t educated, they are not able to think for themselves. Another behind the scene move by the government. H2 was my favorite. I will be cancelling internet and satellite. The only way they will listen is to hurt their pocket book.
You give us hundreds of channels of garbage and take away the best channel on T.V. We’re locked into a contract that was broken by execs. who don’t give a **** about the paying customer. Please bring back the great H2. PLEASE!!!
