Telemundo’s broadcast debut as “Official U.S. Network of León” is Friday’s match vs. Guadalajara

Last week, Telemundo announced that it has acquired the exclusive media rights for the United States to all home games of the popular Mexican first division soccer team Club León. As “The Official U.S. Network of León,” Telemundo will have the rights across all of its platforms — broadcast, online and cable — to all of the pre-season, regular season and, if they qualify, playoff home games of the team. “Saturday Night Live” adds three new cast members

When it begins its 38th season this Saturday, Sept. 15, NBC’s venerable late-night institution Saturday Night Live will have a noticeably different look, in terms of cast members. Departing the show are favorites Kristen Wiig, Andy Samberg and Abby Elliott. (still no word on whether Jason Sudeikis would be back, but if not, that would be another big blow to the cast). Updated 9/6/12, 3:23pm CT This morning, newsman Tom Brokaw was taken to a hospital after feeling light-headed on the set of MSNBC’s Morning Joe. According to a statement from NBC News president Steve Capus, Brokaw appears to be doing fine following the incident: “On the set of Morning Joe this morning,” stated Capus, “Tom Brokaw felt light-headed. Out of an abundance of caution, he was taken to a hospital.
