Along with several other announcements, PBS confirmed today that Sherlock Season 3 will make its U.S. premiere Jan. 19, and air Sundays through Feb. 2 at 10pm ET (check with your local PBS affiliate for confirmation in your area when the time comes, of course). Although they lost the World Cup-qualifying match with Costa Rica on Tuesday, Mexico still managed to stay alive for possible inclusion in the 2014 World Cup by virtue of the USA defeating Panama via two goals late in their match on the same night. Power outage delays new “South Park” episode

The new South Park episode originally scheduled to air tonight (Oct. 16) — Episode 1704, “Goth Kids 3: Dawn of the Posers” — has been delayed by a week due to a power outage at South Park Studios last night, according to Comedy Central. Due to the power outage (an image from the outage is pictured below), all computers at the studios were down, so everything from animation to rendering to editing and sound on the episode was unable to be completed in time for the episode to air tonight, as originally planned. Telemundo will begin auditions for La Voz Kids Season 2 at the end of October, the network announced today. La Voz Kids is a singing competition series spun off from NBC’s The Voice, and features children competing for its singing title. Season 1 of La Voz Kids, which was won by Paola Guanche (pictured, in pink), was a hit for Telemundo, reaching 14.6 million viewers over the course of its 13-week run. Homeland Season 3 recap: Episode 3 – “Tower of David” After not seeing Brody (Damian Lewis) in the first two episodes of Homeland Season 3, we finally got a big dose of him in last night’s third episode of the season, “Tower of David.” The episode was a fairly claustrophobic one for the show, keeping us, for the most part, in Brody’s new location, while occasionally interspersing this with Carrie’s (Claire Danes) similar predicament still a resident of the psychiatric hospital.
