When is Rudolph on TV 2013? Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer — Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013 at 8pm ET/PT on CBS. UPDATE 12/10/13: CBS has announced that Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer will also air Saturday, Dec. 14, at 8pm ET/PT, followed by Frosty the Snowman and Frosty Returns. Power outage delays new “South Park” episode

The new South Park episode originally scheduled to air tonight (Oct. 16) — Episode 1704, “Goth Kids 3: Dawn of the Posers” — has been delayed by a week due to a power outage at South Park Studios last night, according to Comedy Central. Due to the power outage (an image from the outage is pictured below), all computers at the studios were down, so everything from animation to rendering to editing and sound on the episode was unable to be completed in time for the episode to air tonight, as originally planned. With ’90s nostalgia booming, it was probably only a matter of time before somebody conjured up a Sabrina the Teenage Witch revamp. But the character, who started life on the pages of Archie comics way back in 1962, won’t be getting the live-action treatment this time out. PBS and The Fred Rogers Company present Peg + Cat on PBS Kids, a new animated series geared to 3- to 5-year-olds that uses songs and stories to explore numbers, arithmetic, measures, geometry, spatial relations and more. PBS teamed up with The Fred Rogers Company to look for an early-learning solution to the problem of students not meeting math proficiency standards. Boomerang bringing back classic “Looney Tunes” shorts in October

I’ll admit I wasn’t a huge fan of Cartoon Network’s The Looney Tunes Show, an attempt to bring back the classic Warner Bros. animated characters in a modern format. While it was fun seeing the old gang like Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, I found the show too formulaically sitcomish, and not nearly “looney” enough — certainly not up to the standards of inspired comic insanity set by the original Looney Tunes short films. FOX recently announced the all-star lineup of guest voices that will be appearing on its Sunday night Animation Domination lineup of shows — The Simpsons, Bob’s Burgers, Family Guy and American Dad. When Seth MacFarlane, Mike Barker and Matt Weitzman’s animated comedy series American Dad! premieres its 11th season in late 2014, it will be on a new network. The series, which has aired on FOX since it began in 2005, will debut Season 11 with 15 new episodes on TBS, with encores of those episodes airing on TBS’ sister network Adult Swim.
