“Antiques Roadshow” looking for Season 15 objects

PBS’s most popular primetime series, Antiques Roadshow, has announced its Summer 2010 tour destinations. Programs taped in these locations will make up the show’s 15th broadcast season in 2011 (the 14th season began last Monday). “We’re calling this our Crystal Anniversary Tour,” says series executive producer Marsha Bemko. “It’s our way of celebrating Roadshow‘s 15-year romance with America’s stories, its objects and its extraordinary history.” This 2010 tour will feature a series of local events at which top appraisers offer the public free evaluations of antiques and collectibles, revealing the often-surprising history and value of the items.
