Theresa Caputo, the star of TLC’s series Long Island Medium, says she was 28 when she was first introduced to the possibility that she was a medium. It took another five years for her to actually accept her gift.
“There’s a big difference from when I accepted it to who am I?” Caputo told us. She said she struggled with feeling, “I’m no different than anybody else. Why was I chosen to do this? Why is this my journey?”
The aftermath of 9/11 left her with clarity and a feeling of purpose for what she calls her role in the physical world. Now Caputo spends her days and nights taking her clients on an emotional and spiritual journey with the afterlife. She helps people find closure and/or reconnect some with loved ones who have passed.

Surprisingly, Caputo has built her career on word of mouth only and has done little to no marketing. When asked if she’s ready for what a TV series will bring as far as popularity, Caputo says: “Absolutely not. I still think this is like a school project. It’s so not reality yet for me. My life is overwhelming as it is, as of right now, my waiting list to get an appointment is… I don’t have any availability until January 2013.”

NOT FOR ME!!! So, first I have to say that I’ve been a believer and its not because of your show or others like it. My Uncle was murdered when I was a teenager and I’ve always felt him watching over me. I write you for my mother. I think she still carries a lot of my Uncle and would love to hear from him. The reason for her not giving up is because we had a Psychic who tried to help the Detectives. And the things she said, leads the whole family to believe that my other uncle, mom’s younger brother had something to do with the murder. Based in drugs and other problems. I would love for you to read her. She has special nickname for him. And i know the minute you meet her, he will step forward and tell you his nickname. That is all we would all need.
Also, this year I had one of my best friends die of a massive heart attack at 39. I know because of the way it happened, he is at unrest and would like to step forward. Not for me, but for his wife Cita!

Hi Theresa I think it is an amazing thing you do…I lost my bother Jedd 10 years ago and recently I lost my son Gavin..He was only 8 years old..Gavin passing was very sudden and the way he way he past was horrable..I would just like to know he is ok and that he wasnt scared when it happen and know it was an accenident..and that he with my bother and around us..I would love to have an appointment with you if you will ever be in this area or close by.. i hope to hear back from you But you have amazing gift ..Thank you for doing what you do

Hello my name is Carmen Corbin but my face book name is carmen clark I am a Psychic and Medium. I have done work for the FBI on my own. I know that I call them entities or ghost can mess with you or spirits. I also can get many energies that come to me. Hi I would lke to kno if my mom and dad r okay. My mom was very upset with me when she passed and she left a letter for me BUT my sister would not let me read it he said it would not be right for me to read it.
