  1. THE ONLY REASON THEASE LOW LIFES LEFT NASCAR, AND A FEW OTHER MOTOR SPORT PROGRAMS, IS THAT NOBODY WITH HALF A BRAIN WOULD WATCH THIS CRAP. This IS BULL SHIT.YOU SUCK FOX.

  2. ITS VERY SAD,I PUT CHANNEL 219 ON AND IS MIKE TALKING ABOUT BITING A HEAR IN A FIGHT,,,,,,,,,WTF IS THAT?

  3. I saw my first road race in 1952, Palm Springs, still in high school. I was hooked from that day forward. I was there opening day at Riverside Intl. Took Jim Russell’s race driver training at Rosamond,CA Car racing has been my life. Gee, just what I need, more basketball, etc., news, and hockey fights.

  4. This guys says it all, WTF man!! I want Speed back, I don’t want to watch BS sports..

How many ESPN’s do we need. When I switched to SPEED I wanted to watch motor sports (drag racing, nascar, formula one etc.) I don’t want to know about the NFL or what ever. What about the other stuff like Chop cut Rebuild, Gears, Hot Rod TV, and Truck You. Man we just went backwards in time. Who wants to watch another couple of clowns talking about A-Rod??? Bummer!!!

  5. Hey NASCAR fans, next time your at a race, instead of having a sign supporting your driver. Show them your support of having your speed channel back and how much that FOX SPORTS SUCKS!!! Maybe then they might get the hint.

  6. This has to be all about $$$$$$$$. Nascar is their big ticket item. Now they will move races away from free over the air Fox stations and broadcast them on pay fox sports 1 or 2 . What’s left for free? You have to have pay tv to get races on ESPN and TBS. Bring back Speed and all our favorite programs.

  7. How many ESPN’s do we need. When I switched to SPEED I wanted to watch motor sports (drag racing, nascar, formula one etc.) I don’t want to know about the NFL or what ever. 8. This is wrong speed is for auto shows to put it together with other sports is like oil and water they don’t mix I don’t like other sports because its always people want more money more money all the people in other sports think about them self’s not there team with auto sports it is all about the team because the smallest guy on the team is just a important as the driver this is a team sport with other sports is only about the guy of the day or of game you don’t see everyone one just the one that is being shown above the team put it back and leave it be don’t mess with a good thing.

  9. Listen to the people. A channel like speed was watched by many. If a provider out there would come up with another all motorsports channel I would bet it would be the most popular provider out there. Big mistake taking this away.

  10. I just realized what happened. To get Speed on my cable TV required premier service. I liked SPEED. I liked the gearhead shows as well as the race coverage. I am NOT interested in UFC that seems to be all that is on tonight. You have lost me now. Like others have said, we do not need another “sports” channel, we need a “motor sports” channel.

  11. THIS SUCKS I DON”T WANT TO WATCH BALL GAMES. I WATCH GEARHEAD SHOWS SO STICK THIS IN YOUR BUTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  12. I’m not into ball games, I’m into motorsports that requires balls. Grow some and bring back SPEED. If I can find something like HULU that covers my sports I’ll drop Direct TV and buy an antenna then plug into the net! Called Direct TV tonight and they said only the name has changed, “so I checked the guide” you out right lied.

  13. Who are you kidding when you say many of the shows previously on speed will be on the new Fox Channel ? Sorry guys but when it comes to automotive related shows NASCAR isn’t the only game in town. Another ESPN type network doesn’t take the place of the speed channel silly people. Speed Channel was unigue. What’s the problem, not enough profit for Rupert Murdock ? Do you expect viewers of Speed to be interested in stick and ball sports or do you care?

  14. I think this is another try for NASCAR to try and go mainstream. Didn’t they try that 6 years ago and all they have are the empty seats they spent millions to build. We are car guys, friggin’ soccer was on today!!! Like we need another sports channel. Why couldn’t they kill FOX Sports 2 or one of the ESPN stations. How about all the SPEED anouncers saying how great this is going to be. Screw them to they’re NASCAR sell outs.

  15. Unreal!!!! Like another reader said, you idiots have to always try and fix what isn’t broken. All you did was create another channel that already exists in ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Sports, etc, etc. And you took off a channel that WAS ACTUALLY unique. The ESPN people are just going to keep their audience and your Speed Channel fans will just leave your network anyway. you IDIOTS!!!!!!

  16. Of all the incredible, out of contact with the viewers, blunders that I have ever witnessed, killing SPEED has to rank amoungst the worst decisions ever. I have enjoyed the exclusivity of this channel for a long time. I’ll mourn it’s passing. But if you think that I’m going to sit around watching sports touts and Rugby you’re crazy. Count me out! Where’s the Leave it to Beaver re-runs?

  17. REALLY!!!!! tell me how many other channels air basic sports programs. Do you think we really need or for that matter want another sports channel airing the same sporting event or talking about sport issues that we can tune to at least 10 other channels throughout the day and see the same thing. This channel was unique and has many watchers and true fans that are now extremely disappointed. I do not think this is a wise or profitable decision.
