  1. Whose had the great idea was to do away with the speed channel? Sounds like an Obama idea!! Please bring back Speed.

  2. I miss Speed channel!!!! The TV was locked on Speed whenever my wife wasn’t home, and recording when she was. I am letting Charter know I have no more reason to pay for cable, and if enough people do this, they will pass it on to execs out there, and maybe we can get a new Speed. Or we all invest and start our own! PS Finding a new channel isn’t enough if you keep paying for TV.

  3. BRING BACK SPEED!!! Who needs ANOTHER sports channel talking about the same blah blah blah

    WE WANT SPEED!

  4. I was disappointed to say the least this morning. I hope the sat/sun morning lineup moves to velocity or spike, that’ll learn’em.

  5. I just got back to the US from a 42 day assignment overseas to find out that my beloved SPEED channel had been replaced by this P.O.S. Fox Sports 1 channel. WHat the hell goes on in corporate America? I too enjoyed the Gearz, Two Guys Garage, etc on SPEED channel; what happened to those shows? Are they forever destined for the circular file (garbage can)??? Damn you guys for your stupidity. I’m finding another channel to watch for sure…. Idiocy.

  6. Why can’t the big corporations stay out of our lives. We have to put up with their crap at work and now we have to put up with it in our own TV set. BRING BACK SPEED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  7. I agree with the all the disappointed people, “BRING BACK SPEED CHANNEL!”, there were good programs on the channel. Every week I looked forward to watching “GEARZ”, and “Two Guys Garage”! They were informative and educational programs. Who needs another channel with sports news, and commentary BS?! I have paid to get the upgrade channel package with DISH for years just so I could watch “SPEED CHANNEL”!! There’s no need to have it now! What gives?! Who needs another stupid general sports channel where there is nothing on but commentary BS, or boxing? Not me!! What’s the point of having a choice if CORPORATE AMERICA isn’t going to even entertain the thought!!!!

  8. “You will EAT IT! And you will LIKE IT!” That should be the new motto for shoving yet another FOX sport channel down our throats. I enjoyed the SPEED channel with my grandson, he likes working on things with his hands. Remember what that was? Dropping my premium package.

  9. Speed was more than auto racing. (and the only reason to have upper tier on Dish) I enjoyed 2 guys garage, truck u, etc., especially in the shop early on Sat. mornings during “me time.” Not everyone likes boxing and in depth analysis about football. So tired of corporations trying to appeal to everyone and forgetting about their paying customers. Have you seen the stands at a race lately???

  10. Speed had a special type of programming, making them not just another “me too offering” channel. Why would you spend all the funding over the many years to build up a brand, a loyal fallowing. With all the crrap programming on TV 5 home shopping channels and hours and hours of sports programming already on TV. I was a hardcore Speed Channel viewer. I need to rethink my programming package to see if I cab now drop all the stuff I had to pay for just to get speed

    • Bring back Speed channel. I will not watch your FS1 channel, I will go back to ESPN !!!!! Only reason to pay DISH as much as I do was to get the Speed channel, might as well go back to over the air channels now.
