“What happened to Style network?” will be the question of the evening when Esquire Network officially takes over the the 15-year-old network on Monday, Sept. 23 at 9pm ET with the premiere of Esquire’s 80th. Still in question is whether new episodes of Giuliana & Bill, Jerseylicious, Big Rich Texas and Tia & Tamera will find a home on any of NBCU’s other networks. Some of the shows are expected to simply end their run, while a few will most likely be worked into schedules on E!, Bravo or Oxygen.

E! did confirm plans of airing the most recent seasons of Giuliana & Bill and Tia & Tamera starting in October. E! will begin re-airing Season 3 episodes of Tia & Tamera and already aired episodes of Giuliana & Bill’s sixth season on Tuesday nights starting Oct. 15 at 9pm ET, as well as new episodes of Giuliana & Bill next year. Season 3 of Tia & Tamera actually ended on Style Sunday, Sept. 22, and it’s unknown whether the series will see a fourth season. Oxygen will also be airing a 10-episode marathon of Season 3 of Tia & Tamera beginning Thursday, Sept. 26 at noon ET.
Syndicated series on Style, like Sex and the City, which originally ran on weekends, are interspersed heavily throughout the Esquire schedule, helping fill early morning, late-night and weekend time slots for the new net. Sex and the City, however, is littered all over the NBCU nets — you can catch it on E!, Oxygen and Bravo.
Clean House, which aired for nine seasons on Style, will also show up on Esquire — at least for the first week — filling the Wednesday, Sept. 25 morning block from 6am to 3pm ET.
At launch, Esquire had several original series including Knife Fight, Brew Dogs, Boundless and The Getaway. Similar to Style, Esquire will also help fill its programming schedule with blockbuster movies. The first few weeks, viewers of Esquire can expect titles like Ocean’s Thirteen, Casino Royale, Ghost Rider and Stripes, as well as popular series from Bravo like Million Dollar Listing, Chef Roble and Top Chef, and USA Network series like Psych and Burn Notice.

Lets start a BOYCOTT ESQUIRE! I am sure they have a facebook page and if we dont speak up they are not going to do anything about it I upgraded my package just to get Style channel if they dont do something I am going back down a package if everyone threatens this and it hits thier pocket then they may do something.
I am so disappointed that style network has been axed. I watch Jerseylicious, Glam Fairy, Guiliana &Bill, Texas Rich Tia & Tamara etc. They are my guilty pleasures after a long day. Style had been advertising the new seasons starting and then without so much as announcement the whole channel is gone.
No one in my household will watch old movies, or dumb shows like Beer guys. If we watch a movie it is on one of the channels like Showtime or HBO etc. My husband watches sports, political shows and movies that we have on dvd. I certainly hope Oxygen, TLC or We pick up these shows. Someone at nbc universal should be fired.

I am in agreement with the other comments here. What a stuuuuupid idea. I loved the Style Network so if any corporate heads are reading this just know we want Style Network. I am not interested in the Esquire Network and will not be watching. So there, see how ur ratings will go. U can have an Esquire Network but do not replace it for Style Network. In other words bring Style Network. We need to band together and let our voices be heard by airing our feelingswith a petition. If there is a way we can do this U have my support.
Thank God I won’t have to watch those horrible reality tv shows every Sunday. Sorry about it.

I agree with all the previous comments stating this was STUPID! if you watch Bravo you probably watch some of Style Network. It’s got to be a Richard Noggin that is behind this! Pissed to the max!

I’m so upset. I came home from a long day of school–looking forward to G&B the whole time–and it’s not on my DVR! when i when to see when it’s on so I can record it again, THERE IS NO STYLE! I honestly can’t even believe that they would just do away with a popular network in the middle of the season for some of their shows! How will I know if Dalphene agreed to carry their second baby?! I want to know NOW, as promised, not mid-October when E! will play the season!
Giuliana & Bill should partner up with Donald Trump and some other rich people and start their own network. They could pull it off.

My husband watches Fox News and football. Esquire isn’t going to interest him. If he wanted to watch a “guy” movie. He’d get a DVD out or order it on demand. He isn’t going to sit around and watch movies on TV with commercials that we already have on DVD. How stupid.
If I wanted to watch Top Chef I’d turn the channel to the food network. If I wanted to watch Sex & the City I’d change it to one of the other 1/2 dozen channels already running the reruns and IF I wanted to watch back to back girl shows I’d watch the Style Network…at least until yesterday. I’m blocking Esquire.

I am soooo disappointed!! I love G&B, Style was one of my fav stations. I seriously can’t believe they changed this to a men’s station. They have allll the ESPN stations and Sports networks. I guarantee no guy is going to know/care about Esquire enough to generate the ratings that Style did. Nice job idiots.

I am with ya…… I had no Idea of the change and sat down to watch Guilana and Bill, which was the only thing on T.V that I was interested in watching that night…. I did call my cable provider and they were no help of what was going on… I was not a happy camper…..
We should start a petition TODAY!!!!! I don’t want Esquire and not willing to pay for reruns over edited episodes of Sex & The City & Top Chef. Really are they serious for this one of the main reason I pay premium prices for my cable is that I get Style Network. Oxygen has it’s share of shows they couldn’t possibly fit or afford everyshow. WeTv should be a healthy alternative. Why won’t they allow us to have a completely girly channel???
