“What happened to Style network?” will be the question of the evening when Esquire Network officially takes over the the 15-year-old network on Monday, Sept. 23 at 9pm ET with the premiere of Esquire’s 80th. Still in question is whether new episodes of Giuliana & Bill, Jerseylicious, Big Rich Texas and Tia & Tamera will find a home on any of NBCU’s other networks. Some of the shows are expected to simply end their run, while a few will most likely be worked into schedules on E!, Bravo or Oxygen.
UPDATE: Style Network TV to relaunch in Fall 2014! See feature.
E! did confirm plans of airing the most recent seasons of Giuliana & Bill and Tia & Tamera starting in October. E! will begin re-airing Season 3 episodes of Tia & Tamera and already aired episodes of Giuliana & Bill’s sixth season on Tuesday nights starting Oct. 15 at 9pm ET, as well as new episodes of Giuliana & Bill next year. Season 3 of Tia & Tamera actually ended on Style Sunday, Sept. 22, and it’s unknown whether the series will see a fourth season. Oxygen will also be airing a 10-episode marathon of Season 3 of Tia & Tamera beginning Thursday, Sept. 26 at noon ET.
Syndicated series on Style, like Sex and the City, which originally ran on weekends, are interspersed heavily throughout the Esquire schedule, helping fill early morning, late-night and weekend time slots for the new net. Sex and the City, however, is littered all over the NBCU nets — you can catch it on E!, Oxygen and Bravo.
Clean House, which aired for nine seasons on Style, will also show up on Esquire — at least for the first week — filling the Wednesday, Sept. 25 morning block from 6am to 3pm ET.
At launch, Esquire had several original series including Knife Fight, Brew Dogs, Boundless and The Getaway. Similar to Style, Esquire will also help fill its programming schedule with blockbuster movies. The first few weeks, viewers of Esquire can expect titles like Ocean’s Thirteen, Casino Royale, Ghost Rider and Stripes, as well as popular series from Bravo like Million Dollar Listing, Chef Roble and Top Chef, and USA Network series like Psych and Burn Notice.
We will update you with further details on other former Style series as they are announced.
Sooo livid!!! I can’t belive this I don’t want to watch these stupid shows I want my shows!!! Put them on spike!!!
I am really disappointed to see the Style network leave. It had become my favorite to watch out of all cable stations. So far Esquire is very boring, repeating the same dated lame movies again and again! I will be watching the E, Bravo, and Lifetime networks moving forward. 🙁
I am so disappointed that style network is no longer available on cablevision/optimum. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the episodes on this network. I really enjoyed Giuliana, Bill and Duck Rancic. Why did it go off since it was a all doing so well?
I’m not happy with the change- Esquire appears to be catering to men with the new show line up…
Esquire sucks I was looking forward to jerseyliciuos
The “Powers that be” knew this was a terrible idea, and that they would get negative responses, that’s why the change wasn’t announced. I called my cable provider Monday morning and they weren’t even aware of the change. This was a HORRIBLE decision!
Well, Sex and The City BETTER be on the other channels mentioned as I have enjoyed watching the episodes over and over again. I am obsessed! I have also enjoyed the other shows, as well. Caught a glimpse of the Esquire channel – boring…Please, please, please bring back the Style channel!!!
Losing the style network would have been a bit easier if they would have at least given us some notice. And pehaps, not run previews for shows that they still have no decision of continuing. I would have liked to have some input in the decision maybe in the form of a poll. Very disapointing and frankly, seeminly unfair. Will keep my eyes open for some of the shows to be picked up on other networks. Esquire will be loosing my viewing!
Something better be done before next Sunday October 6th! Style channel ROCKS and this is devasting news!! Who cares about the Esquire channel!!!!!
Think about it. I do believe our cable company is owned by a family who runs east coast teams and stadiums. A Rods YEARLY salary ALONE could probably cover a season OR TWO of production for a show like Jerseylicious. No shortage of stadium building around here! [Met Life Stadium, Barclays] But since ticket prices for these lush new venues are so unaffordable,I guess we girls have to pass on OUR programming in favor of hundreds of sports channels to support these WAY OVERPAID “athletes”
Bring back JERSEYLICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!
This blows! Stop fixing what’s not broken in the first place and Give us our shows back! …where is Jerseylicious moving to and how are we to know?!
What happened to STYLE NETWORK?
I love your shows!!
I miss Katrina Campin in HOT MILLION DOLLAR LISTINGS MIAMI!
Bring it back!!?
This is just f-ed up ridiculous! Wtf were you thinking? How dare you advertise new shows and without notice just decide to do this to us without notice. I hope this new channel fails. You’d deserve it, that’s for sure!
I am disappointed. I hope they loose viewers. You changed a channel that was going strong to what? A mans channel? Is women loved our network based on fashion. Thank you for the disappointment. I had just seen a commercial for big rich Texas and now that won’t be coming on?? So false advertisement. So mad! Going to miss my shows! That was my favorite channel!!
I can’t believe they did that!! I’m totally upset and disappointed!why
Would they take my favorite shows off the channel!!
Just what cable needs, another channel with tired old movies and boring endurance reality shows.
Totally bummed that I’m not going to have style anymore. Didn’t even know it until I googled it 🙁

Pay too much !,,
I lay too much for cable as it is so why would you get rid of a channel without an announcement? We don’t need another guy channel . Where is Jerseyliciuos going? This us ridiculous and a bad move on comcasts part!,,
