Disney XD to revive “DuckTales”

People of a certain generation probably fondly remember the late ’80s-early ’90s animated Disney series DuckTales, which followed Scrooge McDuck and his curious, mischief-making grandnephews Huey, Dewey and Louie, along with Donald Duck, on worldwide adventures. It ran from 1987-90, and inspired a theatrical animated film DuckTales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp in 1990. Cartoon Network released its programming slate for the 2015-16 upfront season, and among the highlights are an Adventure Time miniseries and a reboot of The Powerpuff Girls.
