“What happened to Style network?” will be the question of the evening when Esquire Network officially takes over the the 15-year-old network on Monday, Sept. 23 at 9pm ET with the premiere of Esquire’s 80th. Still in question is whether new episodes of Giuliana & Bill, Jerseylicious, Big Rich Texas and Tia & Tamera will find a home on any of NBCU’s other networks. Some of the shows are expected to simply end their run, while a few will most likely be worked into schedules on E!, Bravo or Oxygen.

E! did confirm plans of airing the most recent seasons of Giuliana & Bill and Tia & Tamera starting in October. E! will begin re-airing Season 3 episodes of Tia & Tamera and already aired episodes of Giuliana & Bill’s sixth season on Tuesday nights starting Oct. 15 at 9pm ET, as well as new episodes of Giuliana & Bill next year. Season 3 of Tia & Tamera actually ended on Style Sunday, Sept. 22, and it’s unknown whether the series will see a fourth season. Oxygen will also be airing a 10-episode marathon of Season 3 of Tia & Tamera beginning Thursday, Sept. 26 at noon ET.
Syndicated series on Style, like Sex and the City, which originally ran on weekends, are interspersed heavily throughout the Esquire schedule, helping fill early morning, late-night and weekend time slots for the new net. Sex and the City, however, is littered all over the NBCU nets — you can catch it on E!, Oxygen and Bravo.
Clean House, which aired for nine seasons on Style, will also show up on Esquire — at least for the first week — filling the Wednesday, Sept. 25 morning block from 6am to 3pm ET.
At launch, Esquire had several original series including Knife Fight, Brew Dogs, Boundless and The Getaway. Similar to Style, Esquire will also help fill its programming schedule with blockbuster movies. The first few weeks, viewers of Esquire can expect titles like Ocean’s Thirteen, Casino Royale, Ghost Rider and Stripes, as well as popular series from Bravo like Million Dollar Listing, Chef Roble and Top Chef, and USA Network series like Psych and Burn Notice.

Well, I guess I’m glad that it was not my cable provider that decided to get rid of Style. I honestly was getting ready to call. But I’m seriously so upset. I recently ordered a second box for my home so that my child and I could both see our favorite shows at the same time. I was specifically thinking of Jerseylicious! Loved Tia and Tamera. Not happy at all…
I love the Tia &Timara show. This is a reality show that is good and wholesome. No fighting, no cursing and very up lifting. So this is the show that is taken off the air! WHY I JUST DON’T UNDERSTAND ! There should be something for everyone!
I was really looking forward to the new seasons of Jerseylicious and Big Rich Texas. They just left us hanging, and I’m so disappointed. I really hope they bring them back.
This is ridiculous. I heard earlier in the year that Esquire was taking over G4. Apparently that never happened (or maybe it did for a very short time, as I see G4 is still listed as G4). I did not mind that, because it was mostly gamer oriented stuff, guy-centric things, old sci-fi/comedy/adventure type movies, and James Bond marathons. But when the hell was this takeover of Style Network decided? And why???? G4 would have been a perfect place for this Esquire crap, but not Style. It seems all my favorite things have been taken away lately. Soon there will not be anything left that I like. Maybe I’ll just end up ditching cable altogether and have equally crappy network TV on regular channels. So stupid!

What liars! I have never seen the SATC syndicated series on Oxygen or Bravo. Never. If anything, the only cable networks I have seen it on are Style and E! Give me a break. Spike, MTV2, and a few other channels are male-centric. Why not take over one of those or start a whole new channel just for this Esquire business instead of taking over one that’s already established?!?!?!??!! I’m SO disgusted.

I think the most dumdest idea was taking the Style Network off the air! Almost all of the shows I watch were on the Style Network. How many martinis did those stupid TV execs have before they decided on this idea? There should been a vote sent out the their Cable/Satellite customers. I may even cancel my subscription and just watch local channels since these companies don’t care about their customers,

I am furious, style was my most watched channel, I watched tia and tamera and jerseylicious religiously, if I wanted to watch folks selling houses I would’ve just watched bravo, somebody needs to get their stuff together, I was looking forward to the season premiere of jerseylicious oct 6

The Esquire network is just a bunch of reruns, No original shows like the style network had. NBC just lost a lot a viewers.
